This store is the best Petco I’ve visited and I travel in an rv and have been in many Petco stores. Their recommendations and care and concern have helped my dog, Lucy, get the best food and treats for her health. Her skin is shinier and she sheds less and she is so much healthier thanks for Walnut Creek / South California Blvd, store. I am so impressed with this Petco and how the store is managed and how their staff is trained to provide excellent customer service. The staff cares and connects with the customers. So impressive. Vivian greeted us with a smile and there was no doubt in my mind that my fur baby was in good hands. With the past groomer, I was dog shamed for having a hyper, nervous puppy and since I am new to small dogs, I was worried all groomers might be like this? Wow, was I wrong! Vivian took the time with us and CARES. My little girl has never looked better and my mind was put to ease when I left her there. Vivian is just a fantastic, caring person and I cannot recommend her enough. She is a gem!!!

Dr Cheryl suggested to having our other animals say good bye as well. They were able to do so on their own terms. Wish there were 10 stars to give, but alas only 5. Also the fees for services are right on the mark. Very pleased and humbled to know that Dr Cheryl is here for us in our animals time of need.

941 Ygnacio Valley Rd, Walnut CreekWe have been bringing our pooch here for his annual exams and vaccines since we adopted him 5 years ago. They are very responsive and friendly. We have had to have some more intensive treatment too. He had a cyst that they drained and did a biopsy on. It was benign but we decided to have it removed because it kept filling up. The procedure went smoothly, they called as soon as he was awake and able to be picked up, they called us to check in on him that night and the next day. We are so happy with the treatment he receives at this veterinary hospital that come all the way from Oakland for them.

Muller Veterinary Hospital
2735 N Main St, Walnut CreekWe have nothing but praise for the staff and the care here. We started going here for physical therapy for a 13 year old dog at Canine Rehabilitation Center. He had arthritis and was also receiving treatment for cancer at SAGE. The physical therapy work they with him made a huge difference. The cancer ended up taking him, but he had very happy, energetic and enjoyable live up until the end.
We now use Muller as our primary vet for two dogs. The vet we were using previously was bought by Thrive and the quality/availability of care became unreliable. The prices are reasonable and the staff are great.

Happy Go Lucky Pet Care
1630 N Main St #310, Walnut CreekMy golden doodle Baker needs a lot of exercise. It's been difficult lately due to my hectic work schedule to provide him the exercise that he needs. Prior to all of this I had plenty of time to exercise him. Our routine was usually in the morning when I would go for my 4 1/2 mile walk. He will accompany me on the beach and he gets free run. Now that I'm in the bay area working 12 hour days he doesn't really get that freedom to get to run and play. I found out about Paula's dog service through my sister's neighbor. I was really excited for Baker to socialize with other dogs and at the same time have fun! You can see how much they love what they do and how well they treat the dogs like they were their own dogs. There's nothing more pleasing seeing your dog happy. It's definitely worth it. Thank you Paula and Lisa for your dedication.

We have worked with her 1-on-1, have regularly attended the drop-in puppy socialization classes, and also enrolled in one of her specialized (trick training) courses. She does a really good job building a community among the dogs (and their humans) that work with her and we plan to stay in her circle throughout our dog's various life phases.

1240 N Gate Rd, Walnut CreekEXCELLENT for boarding my cat!! Each cat has a lot of space - see picture of cat room. My cat has special needs, which were nicely accommodated. They allowed me to bring her special litter box and her own litter. I was able to bring all her cushions, feeding plates, food, treats etc. She had a view out a window, which is very important to her because she sits in my yard all day. After more than a week away she came home as happy as could be - she was OK with all her items I brought back - further, emphasizing that she was very happy and well taken care of here!!I highly recommend boarding your cat here!!

It's an awesome funky venue. It's a bit of a work in process but is still special and clearly a labor of love. One thing is that is not a work in progress are the well executed and original thin crust pizzas. Kelly Jo has dozens of years in the biz and understands how to combine texture, flavor, sweet spice and fire. She combines that with passion and an infectious personality. Plenty of parking, dog friendly, lots of outdoor seating (and some indoor seating), super friendly and helpful staff. And the beers were super tasty and reasonably priced (I did a flight of 4 to try a bunch). They had a food tent making pizzas outside and I guess they have other food tents/trucks and events throughout the week. Definitely coming back here often to try more beers.

The chicken was made with lemon grass, there was pate, the ratio of bread to sandwich was perfect, I was so blown away and delighted with the sandwich I had to go back inside and praise the ladies for their delicious food.

The staff were amazing and the environment that this shop brings was nothing but joy and laughter. I went back again to see if it's a good study location and it was very peaceful! I would 100% recommend. I love the plant-based drinks and the donuts were bomb so that was a plus. I hear the avocado toast is the best so I'm going to check that out when I go back again! (:

Community Concern For Cats

I visited their adoption day at their adoption location off Newell Ave and ended up taking home Rocky, who is an absolute sweetheart. All the people I worked with and talked to had a genuine care and concern for each and every cat there. They really do good work and save so many cats and I would highly recommend them.
