I like the customer service here the girl willow showed my 8 year old daughter a photo of her pink mustang and it made her day I appreciate her taking the time to do that and all i did was go there for some coolant

I wasted too much ? money on my way to school the tool / code reader did not work to tell me what I needed so I drove all the way from walnut Creek to Oakland O'Reilly's by technical please tell me what it was about the parts I put it in myself in a gave me two kit for 18.99

Ive been a customer for over 35 years. After yesterdays dealings with the Walnut Creek location Iam going to have to part ways. After calling to confirm a part, I was told they have it in stock. I gave them my name and told them I would be by in 20 minutes. When I Arrived I was greeted by Cynthia who initially helped me over the phone. She immediately pawned me off to someone else. After waiting 5 minutes it was clear they didn't have the part. I confronted Cynthia about this and she became very defensive turning the issue around on me saying I hung up the phone to quick. Of course this was not true. When I asked for her supervisors number she asked me to leave. A younger sales consultant was kind enough to direct me to their website. As I was sitting in my car trying to reach Napa s corporate office, Cynthia comes racing out of the store and confronts me on the passenger side. My first reaction was for my safety so I rolled up my window. Much to my surprise during her rampage she had her phone out while I was in my car. A few minutes went by and the younger employee grabbed her from the side of my car and pulled her into the store. Wow!! I was thinking that this Cynthia must have violated a number of Napas policies. I would think that Napa would want to know they have an unhinged employee who chooses to escalate a problem instead of dealing with it with some form of integrity. Not too sure if she forgot to take her meds but clearly this was unpleasant for me and it could have been quickly remedied if she was truthful and apologetic. Instead she was deceptive and confrontational.

Very rude employees on the phone. I will not be giving them my business any longer nor would be referring any of my customers to them. I have been in the past and I've heard nothing but bad things for my customers when they've returned from this location. I refer my customers quite often to other Auto places advanced Auto and O'Reilly's are very professional unlike the store is.

I recommend skipping this Napa if possible. Nothing is priced and way too small. Old school parts counter type store with very low inventory. Even checking out was difficult. One obsolete credit card reader that we all waited in line to use. Seriously go somewhere else.

I stopped at the HAYWARD Napa Auto Parts coming home from a business meeting and bought windshield wipers for my Tesla Model 3. When I got home to Walnut Creek it was obvious that they didn't fit. I took the unopened wipers into the WALNUT CREEK Napa Auto Parts, with the receipt, to return them. Walnut Creek informed me that the Hayward store is an independent franchise and Walnut Creek is corporate owned, so they could not help me with the return. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE! Apparently all Napa Auto Parts stores expect you to read their Articles of Incorporation and understand their ownership structure before making a purchase! Ridiculous! Needless to say I won't be buying parts from Napa until they figure out how to put the customer ahead of their own corporate disorganization.

This used to be the place to go few months ago to get parts and these guys knew what they were talking about and knew how to locate parts. Now, if you go in there, you have some new employees working. They have no idea of what they're doing. They have no idea about parts. They don't know how to look it up. This place is losing so much business that I don't see it staying in business much longer, we are automotive shop and you already lost our business and a few other shops. I can't believe Napa hired incompetent people. They have no idea of what they' are doing.

After being totally frustrated by AAA and Ace Hardware who did not know what I was talking about regarding tamper proof screws for my license plate (AAA Oakland once told me about them), Napa Auto Parts was my last hope - I didn't want to risk going to an O'Reilly or Auto Zone. And, boy was I rewarded with getting exactly what I needed, including clear protective plate covers. They knew exactly what I was referring to and had everything in stock! Prices are not excessive at all - what is it worth to you to receive knowledgeable and kind help? I left the shop relieve and happy.

I was disappointed when I purchased a bag of 25 shop rags and return them. The rags were red and I planned to use them to clean the interior of my car. Upon using them, they left an abundance of red lint on the surfaces I was cleaning, defeating the process. I returned the bag less the one dirty rag. At 1st I was told I needed to give back all 25 rags even though the one was pretty dirty. Then the agent then spoke to a manager & came back & said they'd refund this time but next time no way. There are no returns accepted at this location. Beware folks. Best to use another auto parts store.
