We have nothing but praise for the staff and the care here. We started going here for physical therapy for a 13 year old dog at Canine Rehabilitation Center. He had arthritis and was also receiving treatment for cancer at SAGE. The physical therapy work they with him made a huge difference. The cancer ended up taking him, but he had very happy, energetic and enjoyable live up until the end.
We now use Muller as our primary vet for two dogs. The vet we were using previously was bought by Thrive and the quality/availability of care became unreliable. The prices are reasonable and the staff are great.

Dr. Troy and her team are fantastic. I drive from Union City as I have not found a greater group of loving individuals who are passionate about pets. I highly recommend this vet.

Wonder staff, technicians, and doctors. One of the best and I've been to many from San Jose to Napa and on between. Ample parking and easy on and off to interstate very close.

I had been coming here for years with my rabbits and always highly recommended them. Unfortunately I won't be returning. My rabbit is 14 1/2 yrs old. I took him in several months ago because his ears were bothering him. Before they ordered any tests, the vet was already trying to tell me he's old and probably has cancer. I paid for the tests they recommended which was a skin scraping and some blood work. They gave him some ear cream for his hair loss. His labs were totally normal. They had no idea why he was having hair loss but that was it. I worked in vet med for about 7 years before transitioning to human medicine and working with cancer patients. Why would you immediately jump to suggesting cancer without any reason. Is it that they want you to just put old animals down? We took him to another rabbit specialist for a second opinion and they reviewed the labs and did a physical and are in awe at how healthy he is for his age. Maybe they prefer dogs and cats that are easier to work with but I've seen other reviews complaining of similar instances.

Great customer service and referrals. They are backed up 16 weeks, but they were so nice and accommodating with referrals, suggestions, and information. I hope I can get my pup in one day. I want to apologize for my misinformation. The rehabilitation program for this vet is backed up by 16 weeks, not the hospital itself.

Our 3+ year old pet rat, Curly was nearing end of life, and I had searched intently for a veterinarian hospital where we could take him. Muller was the only one who offered these services for a reasonable price. The morning I was supposed to bring him in, we were dealing with a death in the family...My dad kindly offered to bring Curly in for euthanasia, as my hands were tied. Dr. Miller adjusted, called to confirm all the details with me, and just went above and beyond. The care, communication, and empathy in this experience make it unforgettable. This is what veterinary practice is all about.

After going to Muller Vet for several years, I took my terrier in to have his Rabies shot done as it was out of date. As my dog as aged, he does not like to be bothered and on the last visit, was very troubled by the handling of the doctor. They refused to see him and suggested I put him on a Trazadone. I did just that to help calm him. I went back to the appointment today and before the appointment, put my dog on 1/2 a tablet of trazadone and he went on a good walk to the doctor so he would get any anxiety out. Then when I went in to my appointment, Dr. Miller gave me a conversation that was shocking to say the least. I was there to have a Rabies shot and she explained that if my dog bit her, she would have to report him to the county for not having a rabies shot. She then asked if I had trained him on the mussel. I said no as that was not suggested. She kept on repeating that if he anxiety went up and he bit her that she would call the county and have him quarintined. I said, thank you very much I will not be moving forward with this appointment. She followed me out of the office and said I was not understanding what she was saying. I told her I would pay for the appointment out of respect for her time, but I did not appreciate her talking about how much anxiety my dog was going to have by being with her and she was going to get bit by him. It was like she was walking him right into it actually happening! Anyway, if a vet has concern over a dog and their anxiety please provide instructions on how to move forward before the appointment and don't waste people's time.

Follow through /callbacks usually good. All female vets. You can stick with one if you prefer. The costs add up, as with any vet. However, Dr. Nilsson understood that we couldn't afford lots of diagnostic testing for symptoms related to aging in my senior dog. She worked with us to provide a way to keep our dog as healthy and comfortable as possible.

My puppy, Cally, is a patient at Muller Veterinary Hospital. What a difference it makes to take her to a vet she trusts! Dr. Harris is caring and has a great rapport with our puppy. I've read stories about how scared puppies can get when visiting the vet, but my puppy loves her doctor. We've had to bring our puppy in a few times and the staff have been very caring. I would recommend Muller Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Harris is always so thorough and caring towards my pet.

You refused to help my dying dog, you stole our money, you’re beyond guilty of malpractice. We took our dog in, it was very clear he only had about three days left to live, you prescribe him steroids to get money out of us. We asked you plainly, “should we put him down” and you said “I cannot answer that”. I had to hold my dog in my arms as he died because of you. Do not let these people around your animals, they only care if you have the Walnut Creek wallet to pay for their treatment.
