Jon Kanter has been doing my dad's taxes for decades. For years my wife and I self-filed, because our taxes aren't that complicated, but it's always been a slog, with my wife doing most of the heavy lifting. Last year she asked me to find a professional, to take over the burden.When I reached out to Jon, as the son of a current client, he generously offered to work with my wife and I, even though I suspect he has a full client load.It was such a pleasure working with Jon. This year was 100x easier than past years filing for ourselves. (We don't talk about the one year we made the mistake of going to the H&R Block down the street, they were useless, making us do all the work, and they still entered data wrong). Jon and his team were fast, knowledgeable, responsive, and he made the whole process easy. Nobody likes paying taxes, but our family is *so relieved* to have found a tax professional that we can work with and trust going forward.

Jon handled my taxes for 2021 and he's the only tax advisor I've ever worked with where I've felt I could completely trust his numbers. I have a relatively complicated tax situation with several different sources of partnership income, employee stock options, and so on - even with all of the complexity, he pointed out discrepancies in the tax documents that I sent him that no other tax advisor I had worked with had noticed, responded extremely fast whenever I had a question throughout the year, and charged a reasonable fee for his work. Couldn't recommend him more.

Jon has been my accountant for thirty years. He is absolutely trustworthy, and doesn't miss a trick. He sends you an annual tax packet that includes a brief summary of tax law changes and how they might affect you, written in clear layman's terms. His workbook makes it a cinch to fill out my business expenses. And his prices are reasonable and fair. I have recommended him to my family and friends without reservation.
