The Junior Achievement of Northern California provides amazing opportunity for the youth to get involved in future careers. Hosting workshops, events, and job shadows the JA is a great way to view different careers, such as a career involving STEAM or business, and to find out what career you are passionate about.

This company program has helped me exponentially in my journey of learning about entrepreneurship, as well as just in my journey of growth and learning life skills. From the interactive and inclusive events, to the wonderful mentors who work diligently to teach students, JA is a wonderful program to be a part of!

Junior Achievement has opened up several opportunities for me as a young student rising into college. I am grateful that I was able to participate in various events like internships and seminars that allowed me to expand my personal network and become connected with individuals with similar aspirations; the different experiences I have been offered to take part in have contributed to strengthening my college applications and building my resumé for an easier transition into the professional workforce. Thank you, JA!

Junior Achievement is a wonderful program for young people with an emphasis on Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship, and Business. I have participated in many of their programs and I have learned so much. JA offers a wide variety of opportunities for young people beyond business as well. I would definitely recommend JA to someone who is interested in business.

Before joining this organization, I had little knowledge of what to do after high school and how to gain work experience. After attending several JA job shadows and receiving advice from different business leaders/volunteers, I have a clearer vision of what I wanted to do in the future. I think that Junior Achievement is a great organization, and I have recommended my friends to explore JA NorCal when they ask me where to find opportunities to further their knowledge about the future world of work.
