It was comforting not to see men in dark blue suits with sunglasses. The staff made me comfortable and worked through my problems. I would feel comfortable returning again.

After trying to call the IRS almost 50 times I decided to drop in here and beg for help. I'm not sure why it didn't allow me to make an appointment online but I was able to actually talk to a live person and she HELPED ME!! I think it's criminal for the IRS to disconnect incoming calls stating they can't take your call right now. I tried for MONTHS. If it weren't for this place e I would still be stuck and VERY frustrated. It was a great experience.

I tried relentlessly to make an appointment for the last few weeks with no success. I did a drop in, waited for close to 2 hours. Just at closing to have the lady finally call me (her last name is Perez, with blonde hair), as say she has 2 min and I should have made an appointment. I tried to tell her my problem, she gives me another number to call and says she doesn’t have time to open her computer and review. I would like to defund the IRS please. Why put my taxpayer dollars towards a TAC location that doesn’t actually help anyone.

The rent a cop was a complete A-Hole.how do rude and ignorant people end up with these positions? As if dealing with the IRS wasn’t already bad enough.

The whole process of getting in for my appointment was pretty annoying. The telephone tree, random hangups, failed callbacks, etc were frustrating and time consuming. But those are not controlled by this service center itself. When I did get to a person, I was able to make an appointment 1 week out, not bad for April at the height of tax season. The service center looks like a low budget temporary office inside, but the IRS staff woman I met with, Ms. Perez, was very knowledgeable and very helpful.Ms. Perez was on time for our scheduled appointment and stayed over our appointment time to finish helping me because the next appointment had not shown up yet.She also helped troubleshoot for me, giving me advice on the next possible issues that may come up that I had not thought about yet, and how to plan and fix them now, likely saving me a future trip and definitely saving me time figuring it out for myself.

All the options that the voice message provides always not relevant to what people wants. For example, if want get info about ‘Advance a child tax credit’, there’s no option for that on the telephone message. Everyone time I call for something I Personally want to ask, most of the time doesn’t have the option and I have to press other irrelevant option just to get s staff to speak with. What a waste of money for IRS to spend money on buying this ‘Voice Message Setup’ that only provide general info and ‘Brush’ ppl off.

This office is not accessible, and this is by design. There are no appointments, nobody answers the phone, no way to find support. Like the DMV, they exist beyond a curtain and simply collect tax-payer funded paychecks with no accountability. This is not what "free country" means. It means we are free to work and produce something, at some point, for crying out loud!

Worst place on earth. Didn't process my taxes for almost a year now STILL but they cashed my check in two days. No ability to help. IRS website useless. No one to talk to. One number to the next. Zero help. NO ONE CAN SOLVE ANYTHING. Literally is the most corrupt place on earth and should be illegal to exist. Disgusting

The Guard at the door is on a personal call in the hallway and ignores me for 15 minutes. Then comes over and says “this is an appointment only office”, and points at the phone number on the wall. “If you don’t have an appointment, you have to make one.” Great Customer Service. Sarcasm.

I need to ask a question about whether or not the irs has my social security # and bank account info to be able to send me the stimulus money. I am disabled and don't pay taxes as I live on SS and don't make enough money to pay taxes. I have spent over an hour trying to talk to a SS rep but either they're closed or just recordings of numbers to call about other matters. Any suggestions? Thank you..

I came in 20 minutes before closing on a weekday, without an appointment. I didn't know that the IRS office had moved to the 2d floor. I was greeted by a pleasant and courteous security officer. He asked if I had an appointment; I said, No. He asked what service I needed, checked with the person in the back, who said they could do it. He then did a thorough security search (tougher than airport security) and sent my purse back to the car because it had a nail file in it. As soon as I passed security, an Asian IRS staff greeted me pleasantly and took me in right away. Because I needed to make a payment but didn't feel secure to do it at home by computer, he entered everything for me, showed me the screen as he was doing so, and submitted the payment after I reviewed it. Then he printed two confirmations, as well as sending an email confirmation. No one seemed rushed or in a hurry to get me out just because I didn't have an appointment and it was close to closing. This being said, next time I will make an appointment.
