“We've stayed here before and had a great experience, so we decided to make it our go to.
I went shopping and when I got back my husband showed me a massive bruise on his back from slipping in the shower. He explained when he stepped back to exit, the floor was extremely slippery and he landed on his back. I called the front desk and told them about the incident and I was hoping to get a rubber mat to use for the rest of our stay. They sent up housekeeping with stack of towels to use for the floor and she volunteered they only use water to clean the floor (ick). My husband and I were hoping management would appreciate the situation and get a rubber mat for us to use ( I have osteoporosis and he's concerned). The manager said there's nothing wrong with the shower, the manufacturer states no mat is required, would you like me to call 911 for you or write up a report? Not helpful and worse...extremely condescending.”

“We stayed for the second time In a year. Our room, 226 was fine up until the last day/night when the bathroom sink had slowed up to drain out ( we did not rinse dishes with food on them..gross. only for brushing teeth) . We also had a wi-fi issue with the connection after we signed in, that was ANNOYING and my husband was irritated. We did not have a problem on our last stay, hence the 3 star rating.Walkability: There are walking trails nearby. One trail, IronHorse trail will take you to downtown if you are willing to walk a little over 2 miles to reach some outdoor shops, restaurants.”

“Great location for us to commute via B.A.R.T. train in and out of San Francisco for family outings. Hotel is right next to Pleasant Hill station. Hotel staff was very thoughtful and morning breakfast and afternoon happy hour was convenient and included in rate.”

“We stayed at Mt Diablo Inn for our granddaughters graduation. It was the perfect location to attend two ceremonies in Walnut Creek and Concord Pavillion. The room was clean and cozy, bed was a bit lumpy. Did let the office know when we checked out. Will definitely come back when we need to stay over in the area.”
