“I drove 40 miles to check out this place, and I'm glad I did. When I arrived, I found that a couple of wild turkeys were waiting for the store to open ahead of me. They were kind enough to let me enter ahead of them. Once inside, I was immediately greeted by the owner, who apologized for not having any trains running yet. Can you believe it? They had been open for two whole minutes and hadn't started running trains yet. But before I could say, "all aboard," the owner had his Broadway Limited SP 4449 (HO) on the tracks, blowing its whistle and speeding down the layout. I toured the store and found a vast selection of locomotives, rolling stock, and everything anyone could possibly need to build a model railroad in any size, shape, or scale imaginable. As I walked around the store, I could hear the owner greeting customers and answering technical questions about the hobby off the top of his head. I spotted a few items that interested me and checked the interwebs for price comparisons. To my surprise, there wasn't a significant "brick-and-mortar tax." Pricing was fair. When you consider the investment necessary to maintain a well-stocked hobby shop, I'd say the place provides great value. I look forward to returning to Just Trains as I build my layout. Great service, great selection, and great value. Five stars!”
“By far the best kids game/gift shop I've been to! They have unique gifts, great customer service and they wrap it for you!! Been coming here for all our birthday and holiday gifts for the kids and we are continually impressed.”
“Love this store. The service is ALWAYS spot on! Ray (The owner) is a very nice guy He really knows his stuff. Very knowledgeable of everything he sells! If you're looking for Sports cards to add to your collection, or just starting out, MVP & RAY is where you should go!”
“Our son lost his transition object on christmas eve in Austria. Since Steiff stopped producing the model, i ve combed through the web to find a replacement and luckily this store still had one in stock. Ordering was simple and it saved Christmas and beyond. Thank you so much!”
“Absolutely outstanding collection of board games, the nicest staff, and really great atmosphere.
Update as of 03/2024 since Google is asking for it: they still rock on all fronts and the selection on GW products ia better than ever.”

“I highly recommend Jeff Brody. He is very knowledgeable about coins, fair in pricing and a fun guy to know. My dad kept a coin collection and we weren't sure of it's value or what to do with it. I called Jeff after getting a recommendation from a friend. He answered the phone when I called and invited me to his shop in Orinda. We spent a couple hours going through the collection while listening to an awesome playlist of tunes mostly from the 70s. My mom was so happy with the results - time well spent!”

A little low on figurines when I visited, but Heather was so nice at the front!! They immediately clocked me as someone that would enjoy textured dice and helped me pick some beautiful dragon scale dice. I'll definitely be back when I'm in town again.”
“I had these guys construct me a monstrosity of a cover for a large 130 year old antique cabinet. Jesse was the one who helped me, awesome customer service and he knew his stuff! He called me to give me an eta, then they called me on that day to tell me it was done! I picked up the piece today and the lady who took my payment was funny and friendly! The piece it fit perfectly over my cabinet! They did a great job on the dimensions. There was a little hiccup with some scratches, but the boss took care of me, very kindly and professionally. These guys really went the extra mile to make my custom piece. So it's all good in the hood and IThanks, Tap Plastics!”
“I just dropped off my Allen Iverson Rookies here for the PSA Drop Off Event! I'll be visiting this store whenever I'm in the area! If you want to see some fire single cards and boxes for sports or Pokémon this is the store to visit!”
“I'm not sure why out of the different hobby lobby I have been too this one didn't have as much clearance. However that's probably because they stay busy which is good. They were busy when I got there . The line to checkout moved fast and the people were friendly.”

“Jim was fantastic! My kids had a collection of coins that they were sure would be worth millions! I called ahead, explaining the unlikelihood. Jim agreed to meet with them anyway. He very professionally went through each coin, explaining what would make a coin valuable. We learned a lot! He's quite a historian, as well. Our coins were only face-value but the experience was priceless.”
