Helen is so knowledgeable about hair and uses truly clean and sustainable products. The health of my hair has improved since coming to Helen. She is also wonderful with color. My grow out is so beautiful and I can hardly tell when I need maintenance. She also has really transparent business practices and prices, which I appreciate.

Helen is a wonderful stylist--I have been going to her for 3 or 4 years now. She does great cuts and beautiful color. She's also a very real and down to earth person and she makes the time in her chair fly by. Reasonable prices considering the time and expertise she offers. As a picky hairstylist myself, finding a hairstylist to do my hair color to my high standards is incredibly difficult. Then I met Helen, finding out she was a former educator for Joico before hair education was all about fluff, being instagramable and social media presence, I knew she would have the strong foundations that hairstylists used to have to do the best job on my hair while not damaging it. I was right! I’m so glad I found Helen.Over the years she’s moved more and more towards nontoxic beauty and it’s a huge added bonus for my sensitive skill and asthma. A few days ago I had my first hair cut and color by Helen (Hair X Helen) and I am delighted! My hair has not looked this good in years. Helen listened to what I wanted and expertly gave me both the cut and color I was hoping for. In addition, she took the time to teach me how to blow dry it and she even offered me a snack and something to drink! I highly recommend Hair X Helen!

I am so happy I found Helen! She is an amazing hair stylist and colorist. I am extremely picky about my hair, although aren’t we all? She has done an excellent job coloring my grey hair and making it look natural. She has given me a wonderful hair cut that is easy to manage with my fine, limp hair. She’s comfortable to be with and I enjoy our conversations - the time in the chair seems to fly and I leave looking my best!

I'm so glad I went to Helen! She fixed my hair color/balayage to just how I wanted it, from the blending to the color/toning and overall look, I LOVE it! In my experience it is difficult to find a really good, experienced hair colorist/stylist and I feel very lucky to have found that in Helen. And the fact that she is so welcoming and friendly just made this experience so much more better. Helen made my hair look amazing, but above all made me feel more confident and good about myself! Helen has time and time again left me more than in love with my hair! She listens to what you ask for while also sharing her opinion and expertise to help give you the best hair for you. She's chopped off multiple inches of my hair and switched up the layering and also just cleaned up my hair with a good trim. She's also saved me from a poor cut/grow out when I got my hair cut by another hair stylist i'm staying with Helen for as long as I can!! p.s she also uses great hair products!!

We have struggled with haircuts for my 17 year old since he was a toddler - he absolutely hates getting his hair cut, the entire process of it, and never likes the results. I bribed him to go to Helen for a pre-prom haircut and he begrudgingly agreed...when I came to pick him up, he had a huge smile on his face and proclaimed that Helen is the best and he's never going anywhere else! That alone is good but she truly worked a miracle with his thick unruly hair. We are so thankful for Helen - might get some good prom pics now!
