I would highly recommend going to Padis in Walnut Creek. Our salesman Dave was super helpful, informative, patient, and worked with us to design and find the perfect engagement ring.
Throughout the process, we switched designs, center stones, etc; but we never felt pressured or forced to make a decision. We were having trouble visualizing some designs so Dave went out of his way to put sample stones in sample bands to paint a better picture.
Out of all the shops we visited, we had the best experience at Padis. I rate it 5/5 and I will definitely be back in the future.

Can’t begin to describe how great this place is. Dave is a wonderful salesman, was extremely patient when showing us all the different options for our wedding bands. Whenever I had a question, Dave answered them quickly and thoroughly through text and phone call. The service is top notch compared to some of the bigger brands, who you have to deal with customer service representatives. When we put our deposit for the wedding bands down, we got the CAD almost 1 day later. On top of this, Dave’s expertise led to great recommendations and a beautiful wedding band for my wife.
The lab grown diamonds on the ring are amazing and an extremely good deal for what other brands were offering. We got a nice 9 diamonds 3.5 mm band for less than a couple grand. It is definitely made well and we love it.
I highly recommend this place, if they don’t have what you’re looking for, they can also custom order and make CADs to give you a preview

We got our engagement and wedding bands here and just last month got my 10 yr anniversary band which I’m obsessed with. They were able to make exactly what I wanted after trying on multiple similar versions and their prices were so good I was even able to get a little bigger diamonds than I thought. They are our go to jeweler for sure and Dave was awesome and super helpful throughout the process!

Dave helped us find our first ring which we liked when we were first browsing. He explained the advantages and drawbacks of platinum vs. white gold, and all throughout felt genuine in his service to help us find what we're looking for.
After some more browsing at other stores, we found a ring we liked even more, and even after I had moved states, I knew we had to go back to Dave when it came time to buy. I was easily able to reach him by phone to pick a diamond and order the ring, with full confidence that it would turn out beautiful.
The ring arrived after a few short weeks and looks stunning, even with the stone I'd never seen in person. Thank you Dave for making the process easy, and all at a very fair price!

The entire team at Padis WC was a pleasure to deal with but Dave was our primary contact. They not only helped to correct the shoddy job done by the initial jeweler on my wife’s engagement ring, but were also very patient with us in exploring wedding bands at Padis and other jewelers. Ultimately, we purchased our wedding bands at Padis too. Thanks to Dave for the help over the past few months.

Man, I thought the tech bags helped rid us of the snooty sales peeps, but apparently not.
My lovely lady and I spent half a day at Padis in SF picking out engagement rings and it was such an incredible experience! We felt like we were on a ridiculous high and I wanted to buy some diamond earrings for my lady. I made an online appointment and away we went.
We entered the store, two sales peeps with their heads down failed to greet us. Okay. Then, I get their attention to tell them we have an appointment. They look at me like I’m speaking Hebrew and they don’t have our appointment. I’m doing all the heavy lifting here and I show them the earrings we want to see. “We don’t have those. We need a few days if you want to see them.”
Hun, this is where you say something like “Oh, those are cute. We don’t have those but we have these and these and these for you to see.” Nope, crickets from Amy.
Amy, you can let Laurel in SF know that you are the reason she just lost a $4,000 sale on our engagement ring and the bands too.
Amy and Payton or Tim or whatever his name is, really need to learn some manners and how to treat people. Thanks for wasting my Sunday afternoon y’all.

I have a friend who has worked for Padis Jewelry for at least 30 years every holiday season. I have bought a few pieces over the years from Padis. With my recent engagement, Maureen recommended I talk with some folks there. We ended up with Valerie in the SF location. What a great experience. My fiancé had a rough idea of what she wanted, but we hadn't really found it anywhere else. Valerie showed us everything that could be built to provide what we wanted, thru this process, we stumbled upon the exact ring she wanted. A heart shaped diamond with a hidden heart shaped halo and lots of filigree and pave' diamonds. Valerie then guessed the size of my fiancés finger and my fiancé said "no, it's not that small". Valerie then pulled out the sizing rings and she was exactly right with the size.We received great friendly service that made the ring buying experience a pleasure.
