This pharmacy is absolutely the worst. The staff are uninformed and rude. I went in to pick up meds for my mom and myself but their system does not take my FSA card. I asked for the person in charge at the time to help me with my FSA transaction and he insinuated that there wasn't enough on my balance. How rude. When I found out it's their system that doesn't accept my FSA. I've since moved all of our prescriptions to another pharmacy outside of CVS.

The pharmacy line is always long and moves very slowly. I pick up meds for my elderly mother and a disabled friend or would change pharmacies (to the Walgreens on Treat and Main in Walnut Creek where I pick up my prescriptions). The staff is kind and helpful, but whoever is in charge needs to hire more!

I had a prescription for a very urgent condition. They promised it to me tonight before closing which was 7 hours after it was submitted. They waited until an hour before closing to tell me that they were too short staffed to fill the prescription. This was too late to try it anywhere else. They are gambling with peoples lives and putting them in extreme danger. If they knew it couldn’t be done, why not tell me so I could get it elsewhere? I can’t or won’t trust them to ever get it right again. Oh yes, the store was clean. Yay!

This is the actual most trash pharmacy I have ever been to. Even when I call ahead to make sure my prescriptions are ready before I show up, they're still not ready when I show up. Even after I've received a text that they're ready AND called to confirm that they're ready, they still can't manage to get my prescriptions to me when I arrive and they make me wait another hour or another day when I don't have that kind of time. I don't have any other pharmacies near me that carry the medication that I take, so I'm screwed, but you don't have to be. Go to a different pharmacy. This one is awful, and you will spend a lot of time waiting for very little result. Their phone system is terrible, they're always way too busy, and it easily could end up being 2-3 trips to and from the pharmacy to pick up one med. Also, if you get a text that your med is ready and you don't go right away, they might shelf it, and it won't be ready when you come to pick up. And again, calling ahead doesn't work so it is just a rotten situation and a rotten place.

I don't understand this pharmacy. I've never had so many issues before. They are always out of medications and before they used to tell you where it is available but now I need to call every CVS in the area to find out if they have it?! Such a waste of time. Another CVS gladly told me where it was in stock, so obviously they are just lazy here. So disappointing, especially since I already called every CVS in Concord and Walnut Creek and it was easily available at the Target CVS in Pleasant Hill.

Store was very clean and organized! Pat, the employee behind the register, was very helpful. The store has a lot of self check outs which is nice, but I like when there's someone behind the counter too.

Thanks to all the employees who work at this pharmacy; you are all patient and knowledgeable about the location of the products I need to find and always send me to the right place to find them. In thirty years, I have yet to have a complaint.

This pharmacy has gone downhill. Some of the staff is nice & helpful & some of them are rude. They need to hire more staff as there is always a line. They also should post on their website that they are closed for lunch so that folks don't make unneeded trips. I'm not sure why they can't have lunch shifts so they they can stay open. I'm going to change pharmacies at this point.

This minute clinic is absolutely terrible. Came here with the family first thing in the morning for the flu shot because the only available appointments were for each person to come back over the course of 5 separate hours. No one was in the waiting room and they said "sorry we're packed" as they set out the standby paper. Make that make sense. No one came for another hour and they ignored us so we left. Last year it was ok. Providers this year are horrible. Don't go to this location! We rescheduled for a different store.

I got a text message to remind me of a vaccine shot, but the CVS was shut with a hand written sign that they had a power outage

Don’t try to use the self checkout unless you have 3 or less items. I tried using the self checkout to buy a few things but it stopped after I scanned the 4th item. Some the items they had up hadn’t been moved or touched in a while which you would see. For example, their Halloween socks has spider webs on them and there was a little baby spider on them ( by the nail polish section next to the entrance ). It was a very quiet place which was nice but needs some work.

They do NOT accept Medi-Cal at the pharmacy. DON'T tell them you have Medi-Cal if you want to pay out-of-pocket. They WILL NOT let you pay out-of-pocket if they know you have Medi-Cal, even if you also have Medicare. BEYOND RIDICULOUS.

Staff has gone DOWNHILL This pharmacy location use to be great a few years ago (pre-pandemic)! It's such a bummer. We moved farther away and made a concerted effort to keep this CVS location as our pharmacy, but today I'm DONE. As a loyal customer for years, I know that their lunch break is @ 12:30. I'm standing in line literally 1 min prior to their break, assuming I'd be that annoying last customer w/my sick kid who JUST had her meds called in from her Dr. And they turned us away! I pleaded and pointed to my daughter who needed this medicine asap (asthma), which I knew was ready for p/up and the pharm tech still said no, saying that their system automatically shuts down in 1 minute. Okay! Then you have ONE MIN to check us out...it wasn't *technically* 12:30, YET. Another time I had one pharm tech actually tell us that we had to physically take our non-Rx related purchases to the front and wait in line there, instead of purchasing them along with our Rx's!! I couldn't believe it. I said no, I'm not doing that, that's ridiculous. I've always grabbed a couple add-on items during my Rx pickups and now you're telling me that in addition to waiting 12 minutes in the Rx line, that I now need to take the remainder of my purchase and wait in a separate cashier line?!?! Pure laziness. This was the last straw. This place ain't worth it. It use to be. But it isn't anymore. Lines are always terribly long. They're understaffed. They take light years to answer the phone, so gawd forbid you need to actually speak w/a pharmacist. And to add insult to injury, right as we left the parking lot today, I got the CVS notification that my child's meds were ready for pickup Off to Walgreens from now on.........
