I am a returning member to AAA as I am purchasing a new Chevrolet Trailblazer and I feel safe and 100% assured my perfect vehicle will travel and be stored with the safest accommodations. Thank you for this opportunity as a safe pedestrian for the past 6 years in Alameda County, California: USA: PLANET EARTH: STATIONARY GALAXY.

I had a small leak during the last storm. I contacted CSAA. They sent people out to assess the damages. All good so far. The CSAA agent in charge of my claim asked me to report back. I did on Feb. 1 and asked what was I to do next. No answer so I left a message. I did the same on Feb. 3 and 6. Today is Feb. 8 and I have yet to get a call from the agent. She did not answer my call today as well. I called CSAA and asked to speak to her supervisor. Her supervisor was not available as well. My premiums keep going up and my service keeps going down. Anyone have a good insurance company they can rely on?

Warning. CSAA and their parent AAA are not good people and will drop your insurance like a hot potato. This is true even if you are a very long term (25+ years) claim free customer based on invalid "made up" issues. When you explain why their reasoning is wrong, they will use the policy fine print to argue they can do anything they want. They claimed that in August they took aerial photos as evidence of the issues. I don't know if it's satellite, airplane or drone based. But they didn't call and ask about what they called "Substantial increase in hazard" without knowing the context or situation. So I'm spending $36,000 on maintenance directly related and being accused of inadequate maintenance. I also spent $12,000 to have some Oak trees removed and others trimmed away from the house. Oak trees do not burn. When I explained why their concerns were not valid they did not care and were rude to a 25 year customer. In my opinion I would avoid CSAA or AAA. I have made a formal complaint with the California Department of Insurance. due the dishonesty and method of acquiring faulty problems. I have been with CSAA for my Auto and Homeowners for 25+ years without a single homeowners claim. They recently sent me a letter saying they would not renew my policy. It was based on 3 concerns they claim create a "Substantial Hazard". The first they mention is "a roof that has exceeded its useful life". In 2008 I replaced 100% of the roof with a 40 year architectural composition roof. It's just 15 years into its 40 year life (37%) and is in excellent shape by inspection. There is an area where a rooftop solar pool slow leak of chlorinated water bleached the brown composition but there was no evidence of actual damage, just discoloration of the brown color from the chlorine bleaching white that doesn't affect the performance. I did replace all the solar panels and their pressure treated 2x4 mounts as maintenance to avoid future leaks or issues. The white streaks are not visible except from the air so I saw no reason to either recolor them or replace them. They claim this is a hazard and increases liability. I'm not sure how that is true. The leaking water ran into the gutters and was taken well away from the house. Their second concern was my "swimming pool shows signs of deferred maintenance" due to its being empty of water. Last year I replaced my filter and heater for about $6,000 and realized the plaster that waterproofs the bottom of the pool was cracking badly. If it continued to hold water, the water would leak under the pool which is on a slope and could risk the entire pool being lost. So I pumped the water out and it took months to find a pool company with the ability to re-plaster the pool type. It's a 3 step process and I'm under a $30,000 contract. The company drilled 1 inch holes in the bottom of the pool to be sure there wasn't any water pooling under the pool. Once they did that I couldn't refill the pool if I wanted to. Due to the rains, they won't be able to finish the job for a few months but when they are done, I will refill the pool and clean any debris remaining. Since the pool is on a slope, the shallow end is along the concrete deck so if someone fell in, it's only 1-3 feet. If it contained water it would be a higher liability. Since I'm replacing all the bottom plaster, that will reduce any liability due to leakage. They misinterpreted the aerial photos by not asking with a simple phone call. All pools need their plaster replaced eventually and so this is normal maintenance and their aerial photos just happened to be taken during this process. Their third issue claimed I had no fencing. My home is on acres and the backyard and pool are completely enclosed by a 7 foot deer fence and some wooden fences with locked gates. Its hard to see the 7 foot deer fence from the air since its thin posts and wire mesh. Nobody or child can get to my pool without going over a 7 foot fence or through a locked barri

I have been a member for almost 48 years AAA has worked diligently with me, when I have experienced difficulty with my monthly payments. The representatives are professional and kind. I do not have any intention of ever departing from this Company. Do I need to say anything more?

My family has had CSAA for homes, cars, boat, for decades, starting in the 1950's. I was very happy with AAA until it flew a drone over my house, claimed the roof needed repair, therefore, was going to drop my homeowner's insurance. I sent in pics of the roof showing there wasn't anything wrong with it. AAA changed its mind, claimed the drone photos of roof problems turned out to be vents, and kept my policy. AAA is trying to get out of CA. To keep your policy, make sure your house and property is in tiptop condition.

Great and reliable services While many big insurance companies are leaving CA, I am so glad that AAA is the one staying in CA and supporting the people here, as the action speaks for its commitment to the community and its customers. I got my home insurance with Erick at the AAA office located in Newark, CA. He is professional, and detail-oriented, making the whole process easy and quick. The front desk staff were very warm and welcoming.

AAA and their employees have always been extremely helpful and has always made me feel protected with my insurance. I feel like with the money I am paying, I'm getting great quality and services in return. I've been a member for over 3 years and I don't see myself changing anytime soon. Thank you for providing great services.

Switched from Costco's insurance, because it keeps on raising the premiums. AAA is more reasonably priced, but still expensive. easy access, good customer service.

All went well with renewing my AAA car insurance. I did this in person at my local AAA office. My new car insurance cards showed up promptly in my online account. I printed them out from my account quickly and easily.
