I made an appointment to get a key fob programmed for my 2020 Range Rover Sport. I was told my aftermarket key would not work so they sold me a $400 factory fob plus programming $300. I left the dealership and on the way home on the hwy I get a charging system fault and the battery icon starts flashing red. I make it to my office but the battery is dead, I call and they claim it's a coincidence and tell me to have it towed back to them. No offer to have it towed, I pay to have it towed back and diagnosed, after a day they call and say it needs a new battery and alternator and may have other underlying problems. He then tells me it would be $4000 to replace the alternator. I have never had a fault code or charging system problem before. The service manager Harry refused to take any ownership that they caused any problems and has the car towed back to my house. This is the worst experience with a car dealer I have ever had and I will be selling myRange Rover if and when I get it fixed.

WARNING!!! Only go here if you have BIG $$$$$$ to throw away. Appointments are MONTHS out! NO LOANER CARS!!!! I had an appointment on a Wednesday, and my car didn't make it into the actual shop until MID FRIDAY!!! Then the car wasn't ready until Monday since the fancy pan y people don't work weekends! No way these people will be touching my car again. And ofcourse as it's time to pick up the car then they magically find an issue to charge me for since all my work was warranty related.

A big 'thank you' to Steve, the assistant service manager, for stepping in and providing excellent service to save what could have been a rocky customer experience. I was originally referred to Cole European from my regular Land Rover shop in Oakland to replace the second key for my older LR, which was damaged and not functioning. Although I requested an original key, Parts Department replaced with an aftermarket unit, which failed 45 or so days later. Parts replaced this with another identical unit, that failed 4 months or so later. I was frustrated with having to go back and forth from Oakland many times. I called, spoke with Steve and explained the situation. Steve was calm and understanding, and didn't want me to have this problem again. He ordered the correct key for my vehicle, and had me in and out in an hour, with an OEM key in hand and a clean car again. Thanks for going above and beyond to make this right.

There's definitely a reason this place has such a crappy rating! This place is a joke!! The ownership experience dealing with their service department is HORRIBLE! Their warranties don't seem to cover much of anything... every time I ask them to look at something they tell me that, that's only covered for 12 months and we'll have to write up an estimate to even look at it. In addition, when you take your car in for service it seems to take them all day to get even an oil change completed and they're so cheap that they don't even give loaner cars anymore! AND... if you give them a bad survey after your service.... Instead of trying to understand why you thought the experience wasn't great and try to fix it, their answer is to just refuse to service your car again. I would never buy a car from this dealership or get it serviced there!

Very shady service department (or at least a shady service rep who's name starts with a K). I brought my car in for a check engine light, they checked it out and determined that a O2 sensor was the issue and it would be covered under warranty. They fix my car and I drive it home, but the very next day my check engine light is back on. I call them and they tell me to bring it back in. I bring it back in and tell them about some battery charge issues I'm having. They tell me they will look into it all and get back to me. They call me later that day and tell me that the check engine light is on for an O2 sensor... And that the battery could be having some charge issues so they want to look deeper into it and get back to me the next day. At this point it already seems suspicious that the original issue is back the very next day and that they need to do the same repair over again. (Did they fix it the first time?!?!) But since it's not costing me anything (warranty repair) and I already brought my car in I let it slide. They call me today to tell me my car is ready and that it will cost me $250 to get it. I'm shocked because I was told that it was covered under warranty. So I ask and they tell me that there was a $250 diagnostic charge to check if my battery is still good. This is the FIRST I have heard about a charge for checking my battery. If I would have been told there is a $250 charge for checking if a battery is still good I would have told them not to do it. Why pay $250 to check if a battery is still good when it costs $250 to buy a new one?!?! I asked K and he didn't have answer for me on that.. The answer is: you don't. This is just another example of a shady service department taking advantage of its customers and tacking on additional unapproved charges. Save your money, go elsewhere. I can't imagine how often they must do stuff like this to other customers...

This service center confirms my decision to buy a Range Rover even more. Excellent service, quick, accommodating and extremely friendly staff. Steven, my most recent service advisor is such a helpful person.

I took my car in for a recall-repair. The check in process was fairly easy. Unfortunately, everything after that was incredibly disappointing and I left not only frustrated, but vexed. I hate to confirm what has been previously said by a previous customer, but Bernard was extremely rude, and unprofessional... All ending with, “There’s nothing we can do for you!” Much as the Walnut Creek location is my neighborhood Range Rover service center, I’d happily drive across the bay for better service. This was completely and totally unacceptable!

Hey!!! Don't ever go here. After they cause damage to my tail lights for installing the hitch. They will not claim it. So be careful.

Matt who works here is the worst sales person O ever seen in my life. I hope that manger will look into this. I visited the place twice in two weeks and he was very inpatient and didn’t give correct information about the car.

Do not purchase a vehicle from this dealership. I purchased a 2020 Range Rover sport 10/23/2019. October 25,2019 I started having problems with my vehicle and it had been a nightmare . My vehicle has spent more time in the drive department than in my garage . It is currently in service now waiting for another part to come in again . Land Rover customer service is horrible . No empathy for their customer. No phone communication only emails.
