They simply never answer their phone and I can't get any support. Their automated system just loops over and over and I can never speak to anyone

After having my account for 40 yrs, this greedy bank found a way to scam their loyal customers by forcing them to make an inconvenient deposit every month to avoid fees. WTF. Canceling and going to another bank who appreciates my business.

After reading the reviews I didn't know what to expect but I had a whole different experience with Citibank in Walnut Creek. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and was helped by John Latifi who was more than gracious in trying to figure out my problem. I had a fraud charge on my credit card and John was able to troubleshoot it quickly. I had spent weeks on the phone with the customer service number on the back of my cars to no avail. I made a good decision to walk in and let the pros handle it. Thanks John

Walked in and stood in line for 20 minutes to open a new account. 3 people at the branch and 3 employees working. It's completely unreasonable to stand in line alone for 20 minutes in a branch and not to be acknowledged at all. Everyone working looked pissed off like they didn't want to be there. Can't get anyone live on the phone either. There is really no point of this location being open. Save yourself the time

Understaffed, waiting time for the bank specialist is more than 40 min and they still cannot make the things you need with the cards and the account because if authorization issues. Very inefficient office. Parking is available nearby, and this is the only benefit of this downtown location

Their atm took over $4000 from me and didn't credit my account. It printed out a notice saying there were technical difficulties and to call customer service. This branch doesn't even have a manager, it is just tellers. The teller told me I "should" be credited the next day but of course I wasn't. I spoke to a manager at another branch and was told it would take up to 10 business days to get a credit on my account. Update: Took 9 days to get a credit on my account. Unacceptable.

Unpleasant experiences at this location. My elderly mother has been trying to close out my late father’s accounts for the past two years to no avail. Stephanie, the branch manager, has been spectacularly unhelpful and antagonistic, to the point where every trip has ended with my mother in tears. The lack of empathy and compassion has been astounding.Additionally, when I visited this branch immediately after my father’s passing to start getting his accounts in order, my personal information was compromised. In the weeks following my visit, multiple new credit cards were opened in my name without my authorization using information that was recently shared to update my father’s accounts. When this incident was brought to the attention of this branch, the response was defensive rather than resolution-focused. I ultimately received assistance from the manager of the Danville branch who connected me to the identity theft resources offered through Citibank.
