Ken, the project manager, kept us informed about the entire process throughout including lots of advice about carpet care and protecting the warranty. “Our hardwood flooring project just wrapped up this week. We had 4 different companies come to our home to bid the job, and choosing Diablo Flooring was a no-brainer. We were by no means looking for the lowest bidder- we will pay top dollar for the quality and service we want. No other company was as thorough, knowledgeable and easy to work with as the folks at Diablo Flooring. Dave came out to measure and took his time writing and drawing every detail. He sent our proposal to us promptly and we proceeded with our project. Other companies' bids were much less, or much higher than theirs- we were surprised at the range. They worked with us when we needed to postpone the install date, and really came through when there were other snags with our project. The install team was here early every day, they worked their butts off with sometimes up to 5 guys here. They were very conscientious of our newly painted walls, and all of our belongings. We are very impressed with the entire staff at Diablo Flooring and would highly recommend them for any project in your home. Most of all, we absolutely love our floors and how beautifully they were done. Thank you!!”

“Just had Gil do a major reflooring project that involved tile and hardwood removal on 3200 square feet along with installation of new flooring. We are thrilled with the quality and craftsmanship of the finished project. However, even more impressive than the beautiful floors was the service provided. The team did a fabulous job of protecting all of our belongings from dust, even when they had to jack hammer tile. They moved all of our furniture and then got it back in place perfectly. Would highly recommend Gil's Carpets for your flooring needs.”

“I contacted this company because my fiancé and I want to refinish our hardwood floors but it can be pricy especially for people on a budget like us so we thought we would DIY 1 room ourself to see if we could do it to save some money. I wanted some advice besides YouTube videos I've watched so I called top knot flooring and I believe I spoke to mike the owner and asked if he would give us some advice on how to do our floors. I was surprised with the amount of knowledge he gave us because I was sure he would just want us to hire him instead to make some money but it was the total opposite. He was extremely knowledgeable and walked me step by step on what to do with our floors. Yes we did it and it was manageable but If you have the money and can pay for someone to do it, hire this company! I can tell they do great work and the communication is awesome. “They took on my job and did a quick turnaround and accepted payment in escrow but the quality if the carpet is just so-so. I asked for carpet that wasn't "apt grade" as I was a contractor for a time and I know carpet but seems that's all they had for a quick install. So I took it. I will say the carpet looks great and I'm selling my home so not an issue but I know there are higher grades of carpet I could have gotten from Lowes or Home Depot at the same price. If you're in a hurry or just need a quick install these are your guys. They are just bit expensive for the quality of carpet.”

From the very beginning, Ray met with me to conduct a measurement, show me samples, and provide a cost and installation estimate leading up to Christmas. The entire job was handled quickly, professionally, and the total costs were very reasonable, using a good quality carpet. The installers worked quickly, showed up on time, and cleaned up afterwards. Demo and installation was done the same day. They even moved around an existing closet organizer to fit carpeting in the master closet.
