Brand new facility across the street for the much older location. When it first opened you could get money from the ATM on the weekends when the branch was closed but somewhere along the way the hours were reduced to M-F 10-4. I'm sure this is to protect bankers and thwart theft but who doesn't work these hours besides retirees and stay/work at home parents. Drive past the location and they were repainting the already newly painted bank side. The up keep is unmatched. It's a great looking center but who can use it.

No ATM accessible after hours! I completely agree with other reviewers on this point. A branch with 2 outdoor atm’s is closed and a new branch is built from the ground up across the street, opening its doors in 2023 (not 1923, to be clear). Like the former branch across the street, this one remains well located to serve the entire population south of concord, east of downtown WC, and west of Clayton. Unfortunately, though, it only serves any and all customer banking needs on weekdays from 10am-4pm and is not even open yet on Saturdays. This branch description reads as follows: “Bank of America is proud to serve Walnut Creek, CA. Wherever you are in your financial life, we’re here for you…” Really?! That’s terrific because my needs are quite straightforward. I just need to pull a little cash from my account on a given weekday before 10am on my way to the office or else after 4pm on my way back again or as I head out for the evening or else at some point in time on the weekend. Are you “here for [me]…” for this simple request at any of those times? No? Hmm, that’s quite unfortunate considering you used to have two 24hr atms when you were located across the street. I hate to say it, BofA, but you might want to raise the bar a teeny bit higher in considering basic customer needs before proclaiming being “proud to serve” us by closing a branch with two 24hr atm’s and building a new branch from the ground-up across the street without any after hours ATM access. Just a thought.

Place has been open for several months now yet I've tried to pull money out of the ATM on 5 different occasions and every single time the door is locked. I've had to make the drive downtown just to pull out money. What a waste of a new building and terrible experience.

This place doesn't want your business. They moved from an older building across the street with two ATMs that were open 24/7 to a new fancy building with one ATM inside that is only accessible from 10-4pm, which would be fine if you didn't work a normal job. This bank has become unusable and the next ATM is pretty far away in downtown with no easy parking nearby. I'll be looking at moving to Chase across the street that at least has an accessible ATM.

This bank used to be across the street and had two ATMs outside that were constantly used. Now there is a single atm INSIDE and the doors that are supposed to allow members in don’t work and haven’t since the place opened. Did they spend so much money on this new building that they don’t have enough to fix the door so the community can access it?

THEY SHUT THE DOOR IN MY 88 YEAR OLD CLIENT'S FACE + WOULDN'T ALLOW HER TO USE THE ATM. TDO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT HERE OR GIVE THEM BUSINESS.I drove my 88 year old client here and just as it was about to be 4pm a woman ran to lock the doors in her face. Furthermore, she wouldn't even her use the ATM MACHINE! IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SERVE YOUR CLIENTS, WHY EVEN A BRANCH?

Why is there no ATM access...either simply outside or inside the controlled access and gated lobby area??? Lobby closes at 4pm or some ridiculous time. What a waste of time and energy.

THE WORST BRANCH EVER!! The inside ATM has been down for weeks!! WTF????? Why would you put an ATM inside anyways! Why is there no ATM outside like there used to be? Matter fact, there used to be two ATMs outside! This is the most poorly designed branch!! They certainly don't give a damn about their customers because no one can ever use the branch. Waste of money and a waste of your time!! The old branch was actually better.

Struggling to find what the point of this branch is... I mean what is helpful about a branch that is only open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. when I need to stop by before or after work for a deposit, withdrawal, etc. Can't believe that the ATMs are inaccessible after hours... Do better Bank of America, if even possible.

What is the point of having an ATM if it’s inaccessible? Their ATM is frequently inaccessible after hours - behind a locked door with a non-functional card reader. Another Bank of America ATM (in Palos Verdes mall) in Walnut Creek was inaccessible (also behind a locked door with a non-functional card reader) early in 2023 for about 4 months…. NOTHING got done about it despite reporting the issue repeatedly to Bank of America. Makes one wonder if they’re going out of business and if it would be wise to bank elsewhere.

Literally built a brand new BOA across the street from the old one. Only put 1 ATM instead of 2 and access to the door has been broken for 2 weeks so no customers can access it after hours. Spectacular job!

Only one ATM; shares locked space with night deposit. Went cheap. And, why did they move across the street?

Horrible customer service by the front teller and the banker. Went in today with a request to stop payment on a charge that is not authorized. Was told that they cannot help and to call the customer service #. I asked if I can speak to a banker to help make the call internally and was told she was busy with appointments. I was then asked to see if the banker can fit me in and the banker immediately bolted out the door without an acknowledgement or greeting. I am from the older generation in which we stop by the bank for transactions or issues that is not normal and we need help. An unauthorized charge to me not normal. I called the service line and waited for over 30minutes with no help. I went back to the front desk and was promptly told they are busy and short staffed. I like to think it is not staffed with qualified people but I digress. I will be taking my banking services elsewhere that can handle banking issues without shuffling me around and wasting time.

This branch is not generally busy. But there is good reason for that!. They even couldn't open a bank account. All staffs are outdated. Don't waist your time here. Disappointed
