I placed an order for my wife's birthday. While in the checkout process in-store pick-up was listed as an option: I was pressed for time so I chose that option. The next day - thankfully not her birthday - I got an email saying the item was out of stock and the order cancelled.
Who runs an ecommerce site without knowing their inventory? I get it that someone could have purchased the last one on-hand in this store, but you have to be able to move it from another location or send it directly to me. Why does it take a day to tell me you're out? Don't leave me hanging!
Their "apology" (or is it apologie?) was to offer free shipping on my next order. What next order? There won't be a next order.

I absolutely recommend working with the Walnut Creek location for your BHLDN wedding. Cezanne was a total lifesaver getting my dream veil shipped to me after many failed attempts ordering online, dealing with backorders, etc. I feel so relieved after she went above and beyond to help me! Thank you a million times Cezanne ❤️

One of biggest and best Anthropologie stores I’ve been to! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and the displays are unique like no other. Anthropologie Weddings and home sections is also there too on the second floor, convenient for all your shopping. I go there as often as I could especially when there’s a sale. Parking is convenient right across the street from a garage.

7/21/24 My friend just came to this location to assist her sister with wedding dress shopping and she ended up getting racially profiled by one of the workers there. My friend is Black, her sister is half Black half White, and she has White stepmom. My friend was trying to look for her sister and stepmom in the store when the worker came up and said she can't be there without an appointment. When my friend’s family came, the worker didn’t apologize but instead ran away. We didn't get the name so I hate to write this for their whole team, but in this day and age when racism and discrimination is at an all time high, I think something needs to be done to ensure this doesn't happen again. This is very disappointing.

do NOT come into this store if you are a black or brown person, they will profile you and just suspect you are stealing. within 2 minutes of stepping into the store and slowly browsing the garden section 3 workers came up to me to ask if I needed "help" only to hyperfocus on where my hands were. I touched nothing in the store and held my shoulder bag with both hands the entire time. "help" was only offered when I would walk into emptier sections of the garden section. I will never give my business to this location for the atmosphere they provided me. if you personally would like to support this business, shop online.

I like this store, but the service could be better. A lot of merchandisers appear to be working, yet none of them greeted or acknowledged me. Without nametags I'm not sure who the employees are unless they are behind a counter.
I wanted to try on a dress, and had to hunt for the fitting room (a lady told me "it's upstairs) like I should already know. The fitting room was full of someone's rejected items. It may behoove them to be more mindful of their customers- I don't want to feel like I'm interrupting them when I ask for help. Alternatively, I found the dress I wanted online.

One of the best Anthropologie locations in the Bay. Usually beautifully decorated and has a full selection of clothing, plant, and home decor. I've visited the BHLDN (bridal) section upwards of 5 times to try on dresses and have always had a wonderful time.

Absolutely stunning floor display for the Holiday season. Honestly could buy most of this store. Sales staff are nice & helpful, everything is so clean & easy to access items. I love this store!

Had a dress apt with Hillary and she was FANtastic- highly recommend requesting her, very chill and relaxed, knowledgeable about the fabrics, what was in season and upfront about return policy, felt very taken care of, super appreciative
