Beautiful selection of jewelry here! I went in the other day for advice on a broken necklace clasp that I bought elsewhere. Paul was extremely helpful and gave me some valuable info on my piece and what it needed in order to be repaired and why it broke in the first place.
Because it was under warranty, I opted to send it into the manufacturer, but I would definitely come back here in the future for repairs or new pieces! Staff was very friendly and the store is kept in immaculate shape with various certifications on display.

Let me start from the beginning!
I went to a couple jewelers and felt like the generic rings I looked at wasn’t personable for such a special occasion (engagement & marriage). I almost settled for a ring before I was recommended to Paul here at A&J Jewelers. I decided to call him and immediately he knew the right questions to ask. I showed him the rings I’ve looked at and liked. We decided to customize my ring to reflect some characteristics of the sample rings I like and made it “PERFECT” just for me. The next day, he had a CAD 3-D model of the ring.
Paul is very honest! He told me there were a few design flaws I picked out and made a few suggestions about the design flaws annd a few adjustments can ensure the integrity of the ring and diamonds. After working with Paul on my rings (engagement and band) my fiancé and I decided to customize his band as well.
When we got there today, Paul had the rings out, certificate of authentication, and appraisals ready to share with us. World class service!
I honestly couldn’t be happier working with him to get a perfect engagement and wedding band for my fiancé and I.

Best family owned jeweler in the east bay. Both Paul and Lauryn are amazing. Very helpful throughout our whole process of finding my fiancé the engagement ring she wanted. We ended up doing a custom design which they made perfectly with all the small details. We have continued to go back to them for our needs for the last 2 years. We have also bought my god daughters necklace from them as well and they have been super responsive with any issues or repairs. 100% would recommend. I recommend all my family and friends to come here.

I wrote a glowing review a year ago, but it seems to have disappeared. I was back in the store to have a necklace repaired, so it is time for another review. I cannot say enough good things about A & G, and I would give more than five stars if I could. Not only are they nice, professional, and knowledgable, but their work is absolutely top quality. I have had several repairs done, all of which have been done beautifully, quickly, and affordably. They also have large selection of beautiful jewelry, both new and vintage. Although I have only been in the store a few times, they always greet me warmly and make every effort to be sure they do what I want done. Bravo A&G, I will be back.

Jewelry stores can be very intimidating places. We needed to have an updated appraisal for insurance for my wife's ring. Lauryn was so accommodating and made it so easy to accomplish this in less than an hour. She provided professional documentation and a big smile.

A year ago they helped me in a pinch after my husbands birthday gift I'd ordered months ago from another jeweler was subpar. The turnaround was so quick, the selection was massive, and the customer service was top notch. Fast forward to a year later, we'd loved but I wanted a matching piece. They quickly pulled up the record, placed the order and shipped it to me. The gift came with a handwritten thank you note and beautiful wrapping. Prices are very reasonable, customer service is fabulous, and I'm so happy with my purchase.

Great resizing experience! My antique engagement ring was too small and they were able to bring it up a size. My ring has lots of filagree, and I was pleasantly surprised with how beautiful the result was. Customer service was awesome, and turnaround was quick. Highly recommend

This place is a gem! Lauryn and Paul made us feel incredibly welcomed and taken care of. I knew what ring I had in mind but wanted it to be custom and have a little bit more character to it. Lauryn took such careful consideration of all the details and even stayed within our price range. This is the most beautiful piece of jewelry I have ever seen!!! We searched high and low for a good jeweler. We definitely ran across a lot of shops and people who did not feel genuine and who did not stay in our budget. It was a journey getting to them, but now we are only going to A & G jewelers for any needs. My fiancé had his UC Berkeley alumni ring resized here as well. They make everything easy.

I highly recommended Paul and the A&G Jewelers team for your jewelry needs! They've done a great job with all of our watches, rings, and other precious items. Paul has great service and knows his stuff. As a great bonus, they don't nickel and dime - charges are clear and very reasonable. They made a custom ring for my father in law, and recently repaired my daughter's pocket watch, making some happy customers. We appreciate having this local business in our area.
