Seriously understaffed. To make things worse the people who are covering multiple positions are slow and don't make any effort to take care of lines of people waiting. First and LAST time I will ever use this pharmacy.

If I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would. This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to.Everyone I've ever dealt with at this pharmacy is either apathetic or lethargic.Tonight was the last straw. My husband needed his heart medication after being released from the hospital tonight. We were at Scripps in La Jolla and tried to call numerous times, because we wouldn't be able to make it there before the 6pm closing time it said on the website, but no one answers the phone. So we asked my dad to drive over and check if the prescription was ready, or wouldn't be ready before 6:00 p.m. when the website says they close. But my dad got there and someone told my dad that the prescription would be ready in an hour. And that they're closing at 9p.m. not 6, like the website says. We showed up 30 min after they said it would be ready and the person, who we didn't see but could hear on the speaker at the drive thru, said that they needed 20 min and that we absolutely could not wait in the drive-thru because "there have been a lot of accidents there" ? and that we needed to pull to the side. My husband who's not supposed to get worked up, because of his heart, gets upset and yells because we are only here because they told us this time and I get upset because I have definitely had to wait longer than 20 min before and no one was even behind us just then.I'm guessing the guy who came to the window next, and asked what was wrong, was the manager? He never introduced himself and wasn't wearing anything Walgreens related or a name tag. I repeat what had happened and how we're 30 min past when they told us to be there. He said ok and went away, never to be seen from again. ??♀️??♀️At some point during all this, the faceless voice on the speaker tells us that "nExT tImE" we should call or "wAiT fOr a tEXt" but we did try to call, multiple times and no one picked up, and when my dad showed up, "you told us an hour from now"??♀️? And the 20 min wait ended up being 3-4 min wait. And no one enede up behind us in the driveway until I was waiting for my debit card back.I just don't understand the point of being unnecessarily rude, they could have just filled the prescription and we could have just paid and left. It was unnecessary for us to be told to leave the drive through, it was unnecessary to have that random guy coming here the story, it was all just completely unnecessary. And it was really stressful for my husband who's explicit instructions from the hospital at to not be stressed out. And he had to come with me in the car, because he can't be left at home by himself right now.I'm just never going to come back here.

I've been going to Walgreens for a WHILE NOW, and they're ALWAYS looking good (from \\\"Hello!\\\" to \\\"Goodbye!\\\" :))

They just helped me get my rx filled by calling other Walgreens so I wouldn't have to reschedule a medical procedure

They never answer the phone. It's impossible getting your prescription filled here. Just bad service all around.

Tanya, the pharmacist, is genuinely interested in her patients, is friendly NS professional. She goes above and beyond to find the correct drug company who make something you need, gives very kind counseling for a new drug and follows through. The gal at the drive-through was very helpful. Just have patience, but it beats going inside. Their reminder and auto-refill reminder work great once you sign up. Appreciate all the people here. Thank you.

Pathetic. I NEVER go to Walgreens but was able to schedule a Covid booster quickly at the Santa Fe Ave. store. there's a reason they only have 2 stars. so lame. don't even know the current Covid require to get as shot.

Incompetence. Ignorance. Ill intent. The pharmacist named Cathy is one of the most disgusting, incompetent people my family has ever had the displeasure of dealing with. My chronic illness is causing me to slowly die and she raised her voice at me on multiple occasions, called me a drug addict, accused me of trying to trick her or whatever when I get confused trying to sort my 423742384 meds out (which happens often) and has ILLEGALLY withheld meds on multiple occasions, which we found out about later is absolutely not allowed. She has refused to fill meds well within the acceptable date, just because she has decided she doesn't like me (I "look weird", according to her). She has made it known over the last few months in particular that she takes great pleasure in inflicting pleasure and stress upon me and I implore people to avoid such a psychopathic individual if you're already dealing with the stress of, you know. A horrible death and excruciating pain the rest of your life. The other Asian pharmacist is wonderful and I have nothing but kind words for her and one or two of the techs. The rest of them.. jesus. I feel they'd be a lot more efficient if they had more people on the floor, so people like Cathy wouldn't feel justified in verbally abusing autistic, grievously ill people because she hates her job and her life. :) AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS IF YOU HAVE A CHRONIC ILLNESS AND GO LOCAL FOR YOUR OWN SANITY PLEASE

Visited this location during a trip and was given bad information by their pharmacy that ended up costing us more than a hundred dollars to resolve later. Had trouble reaching people by phone when it happened. Will not be returning.

This was just my experience but I went in to get the flu shot and it took 35 minutes for them to process my initial paperwork. Another 40 minutes for them to get me to the second stage of me getting the shot. That's when I left. The clerk that was running the pharmacy at the time didn't seem to be at all interested either. The pharmacy there is where I have always gone to get my flu shots but I will not be going there if that's how they're going to be treating people. The front of the store, however, it was a whole different story, courteous as ever cashiers were just as quick as always.
