Dr. Bath is personable and makes you feel comfortable. She is kind and patient. Her associates are just as friendly. Very clean and organized establishment. She was kind when having put our dogs to sleep. Thank you, Dr. Bath. It's been a few years since visiting here, but we were patients for over 10 years.

We took million to go get her nails trimmed it was $18 the office was really nice it was very clean and I'm going to take her back there is a bathroom there it is not handicap accessible so I could not fit my wheelchair through the door

One of my dogs that I have been taking to Vista Veterinary Hospital died on May 13th. I called the week before and talked to a staff member over the phone. I mentioned that Tavon had drank rain water, went off food, and was inactive. They said they were busy and I could not get him in for an appt. Anyways, I called later and said there was blood in his stool. They didn't seem concerned, didn't direct me to an ER at that point or have Dr. Bath call me. I was only in communication with a poorly trained receptionist or vet tech, Alex. Tavon's health deteriorated quickly, I noticed him curled up under a tree in my backyard, he was lethargic, and his gums were pale. I rushed my boy to VCA Veterinary Specialists ER. When I arrived at VCA ER in Carlsbad, Tavon went into cardiac arrest. Two staff members and I rushed him in on a gurney. They resuscitated twice but his heartrate was weak. One of the staff members told me his prognosis was poor. I had to make the heartbreaking decision to have him euthanized. Because of this tragedy and bad experience, they have lost my trust. I'm changing veterinarians so my other senior dog gets quality care. They only advised me to go to an emergency vet several days later when Tavon had gone to critical condition. Their poor communication and last minute ER advise cost my dog's life. I WILL NEVER FORGIVE Vista Veterinary Hospital for their enormous incompetence! BTW, my other dog, Beau, is now receiving better care at a different veterinary hospital for his painful arthritic condition. Don't go there if you want quality care for your pet!

The following is my response to their comment. They only advised me to go to an emergency vet several days later when Tavon had gone to critical condition. Their poor communication and last minute ER advise cost my dog's life. Vista Veterinary Hospital only sent me a very inadequate email on 5/18/23 with a one liner sentence stating, "We are really sorry to about Tavon passing." VCA Veterinary Specialists treated me with immense compassion and sent me a nice card. His fur clippings, paw print casting, and ashes encased in a beautiful wood box with a metal placard with his name were hand delivered with a mold of his paw print. I WILL NEVER FORGIVE Vista Veterinary Hospital for their enormous incompetence! BTW, my other dog is now receiving better care at a different veterinary hospital.

I reached out and got an appointment quickly to address the concerns I had for my sweet baby. Ashley was super informative and calming and made the process less scary. Dr. Bath was quick and concise.

I've taken my dog here multiple times for ear cleanings as he has allergies and these really help. Ashley is amazing with my dog, and so patient - he's an anxious little fella. 10/10 would recommend !

Our cats have been patients at Vista Veterinary Hospital for several years, since we moved to the area in 2017. Before and during COVID our experiences there were fine, the care provided seemed good and prices were reasonable. It seems like things have changed now - when we brought our cat in for a visit recently to catch up on shots and get a flea treatment, we did not have a good experience. After a short wait in the very small lobby with two very large dogs, we were taken back to a treatment room that the dogs had just left. It was clear from the strong and unpleasant smell that the treatment room needed cleaning. We waited in the treatment room for 15 or 20 minutes while the assistant had a chat with another customer. And by the way, the staff had changed the time of our appointment that morning, making it 30 minutes earlier. At that point we had lost confidence in the care our cat would receive and were frustrated by the apparent lack of consideration we were receiving so we left. We have changed to a different vet just down the road with very good reviews here. We were able to get an appointment at the new vet the same day and had a great experience.

We love Dr. Bath. We went here when it was a different doctor too and liked him as well, but that is beside the point. Dr. Bath is so kind and caring and doesn't upsell or guilt trip you into doing more than you are able. She also has a practice in Hemet so is not available as often as we wish but usually are able to wait for her because we would rather see her than someone else. I don't know vet medicine but it seems like she knows her stuff and have met our needs with around 9 pets over the years.

Took my puppy for urgent care. Although I didn't have an appointment they still attended us quickly. They are very knowledgeable from the doctor, to the vet assistant, to the front desk, and talked me through each care option. So glad they took us in when my pup was in dire need. I thank God she is fully recovering now.

I’ve had many events during the years and I was upset at one of them for failing to give my dog a shot he needed for his allergies and didn’t find out until I went to call them and ask them why that shot didn’t work two weeks later and they didn’t see a signature but anyways she’s so affordable And honest and it’s not crowded at all you get personalized care practically and the assistance are great too I never been and you were so cheap which means that she doesn’t think about herself

I can't thank Dr. Bath and her staff enough for the compassionate treatment they have not only provided our family but to our precious English Bulldog Ice. We've been bringing him to this vet for years and as he began to age and experience health issues, Dr. Bath was straight forward in assisting us to make the best decision for him Definitely the hardest one I ever had to make but also the right one. Last week we helped him cross that bridge and tearfully let him go. Dr. Bath and her staff were the best for this season, thank you!!

So happy with this vet! We take our dog and cat here. My pup is constantly getting sick, stuff in her ears, eating things she shouldn’t so I appreciate this office so much, they are thorough and I often feel under-charged! They’re always very kind, and Ashley, the vet tech has been so helpful every time.
