“Absolutely excellent experience at this shop!! Ricky is the best and has made a lifelong customer of me. Because of his help, I was able to get my entire AC system replaced for over $1000 less than the typical cost of that repair. (I confirmed the approximate regular price for similar repairs with online research.)
Ricky is extremely communicative via text which is very helpful. He also took the time to show me each and every detailed notation made on the invoice, explained the warrantee, and explained exactly what repairs were done. It’s always a hit or miss going into get car repair done at an auto shop as a woman with only minimal knowledge, but Ricky was totally fair and transparent about pricing, and didn’t try to sell me on crap I didn’t need. The turnaround time on the service was also excellent.

“These guys are the absolute best guys around. I brought my truck in for a transmission oil leak and they quoted be a reasonable price to get it fixed. When they began working on it they unfortunately discovered that my transmission was going to need replacement. I talked through with them my options for my 2004 ford explorer with 250k miles on it and in the end decided to take my truck to the junk yard for cash. Instead of charging me for the hours of manual labor they had done (which I was perfectly ok with paying) Kevin told me to not worry about paying as he understood how terrible the situation was for me. I recommend these guys to everyone I meet.”

Contacted Slick Auto Repair was greeted by Fred, he was very polite along with his two sons as well, checked my car gave me the good and the bad news with honesty as well answered all my questions, doubts and insecurities along with a lot of patience. Just like everything I know it takes time specially for cars but one of the great news was he could have my car ready in a day and a half! They have done work on my 55 Chevy show car, as well as a classic Jeep where he replaced the transmission and clutch.
