I'm curious if this is a standard practice at your store. Your produce stocker using a pocket knife to cut unwashed apples and hand them out as samples. One to my son and one to my wife. I feel like this is a unsanitary way to do this. If it's a common practice I'm definitely not a fan.

I visited the Vista location this morning and the store manager was friendly and said hello. I walked over to produce and the gentleman was friendly and said hi, I thought WOW what a nice store and they acknowledge their customers until I went to pay. The cashier just asked if I wanted bags and I spoke up and said yes please and I am paying with EBT and I continued to unload my basket and I could hear the cashier and bagger talking about their personal lives. I said hi how are you and she said it's good and then continued to talk to the bagger about their personal lives. Neither one of them wanted anything to do with me lol which is fine with me because I believe my kindness intimidated them. The bagger kept giving dirty looks and she packed my bags so heavy. The fact about bags when purchasing food using EBT you are not supposed to be charged for bags. Don't squeeze heavy items in one bag , it's sad because it's just a bag lol. I'm proudly on food stamps aka EBT because I have owned business,houses,cars,jewelry and I have traveled so you dont judge anyone, plus I'm a tax paying law abiding citizen that has worked. No one is prepared to not be able to work one day due to being disabled, spinal surgery, broken foot, meniscus tear. This can happen to anyone so don't talk about people and be nice. Even after I experienced this I was still nice to you both. Don't work with public if you not happy there

This store is great for everything except produce. The last 3 times I have been here I get home to find that my fruits or veggies are bad/ moldy under the packaging. It sucks that I have to go to other stores, but I can't keep wasting money like this.

Amazing service, I got in line today and this clerk girl Faith was so sweet and helpful. She immediately got to work and she was quick and efficient. She was the best clerk I've ever met and deserves everything. Everything was great and going well in the store until I started to overhear this girl Lisa being rude to the other employees she just wasn't being kind and was very passive-aggressive when it wasn't needed. I think the Lisa girl needs to be talked to about how she treats people. Other than that the store was great and I got my things bought and bagged very quickly.

Michael in produce was very kind, personable and extremely helpful during my recent shopping at this Stater Bros! His customer service deserves accolades!

Michael is hands down the friendliest and most helpful guy and the Asst. manager Ryan is equally as welcoming. I'm going to keep coming to this store.

Cashiers should keep comments about customers Finances to themselves. Making assumptions about what is available on a customers card is unprofessional and rude. Do better.
