Richard is an excellent mechanic, and trustworthy person.
I had a breaks replacement in a different place and right after having done it, a chirping sound was coming from the breaks , I stopped in Richards place and he fixed the issue placing the break pads in the right spot. he didn’t wanted to charge anything … since that day I have Richard as my mechanic, great prices and great human being.

Do not go here. They are liars.I dropped my car off this morning at 8:30 after calling the day before to ask about their service fee and how long it'll take to diagnose. They told me it would take no more than 2 hours and that they would call me once they figured out the problem. After dropping off my car at 8:30 I called at 3:50 then again at 4:15 because nobody answered the first time and they said " oh we found the problem and it's going to cost a lot but I know a guy and I'll make sure it's cheaper. But you can’t pick up your car today because you close at 4:00. So you can pick it up tomorrow" I knew for a fact they closed at five based off google so I had said okay but then called back and said “hey I see here close at 5:00 and I need my car tomorrow.” Then he said I could pick it up. They lied, didn't call me when they found out, and wouldn't have called me until the next day." DO NOT GO HERE.

I went to Richard's for a smog check. I went there because I used to go to AJ smog who retired recently. I unfortunately did not look at the prices. My car is a 2005 vibe. He charged me a rip off price of 90.00!! When I left I had called another smog check in Vista and for the same make and year he quoted me 58.00 out the door. I just got totally ripped off by Richard's automotive!! My husband and I will never go there again!!!!

I called several places to get a quote for work I needed done on my 2013 Murano and this place actually took the time to talk to me. I took my car in and they were very friendly and the most important thing, honest! They did not try to tell me I needed more work done just to make the bill higher and showed me on my car what the problem was not just telling me. I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family and will continue to get my car serviced here. I’m so blessed to have found a good honest mechanic as they are very hard to come by. Thank you Richard. God Bless??

Richards auto is great I had to have 2 vehicles get brake and light inspections done and they got me in and out in no time at all. Even hooked me up with another issue for free.
