I had a move scheduled for a Saturday drop off and the day before at the end of the day I received an email saying that my move had been canceled. I immediately called them to see what the issue was and what could be done about it. I was told that this thing happens and that they can usually rectify it and deliver next day. Unfortunately when I called in the morning they told me that I'm SOL and there's nothing that could be done despite being told previously that it can be fixed. The biggest problem with them is their lack of any form of communication skills they will only notify you of issues by email and even then by the time you see that there is an issue it's to late to fix it, when a call could have the issue fixed in 5 minutes tops

EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!!! And they refused to compensate me for bins that were damaged during transport. Won't use them again.

Do not use. Their hours for access are so narrow and customer support sends you through 80 hoops of automation before actually helping you. They also don’t let you cancel services easily so you will be roped into paying for extra months. Truly recommend avoiding at all costs!

We were settling my mom's home and belongings after her death, and I used PODS to send furniture, books and paintings to my brother three states away. Worked great.

I placed an order for a pod and a few days later got an email saying they cancelled it. So I went with Ubox because they are more reliable and a better value. Then I got an email telling me what to expect for my upcoming POD move. I called immediately to remind them they cancelled my order and reiterate that I've moved on, I can't rely on them cancelling my order.. (or not? Either way I don't trust this) They agreed to cancel my order. Fast forward to today and I'm getting ANOTHER email telling me my pod is coming. It's going to have nowhere to go... I have cancelled this order and it was cancelled on me as well prior to that.. so how is one coming still??? I'm sure they are going to charge me. My credit card company is aware this is not authorized and will be declined. Thanks

Not sure if I could've had a worse experience. Amazing idea but absolutely the worst execution possible. Seems like a simple system; delivering a pod, picking up a pod, storing it and then re-delivery. Sounds easy right?? Apparently not. They outsource all their "customer care" abroad and those poor people have no idea how to help the customers. Not their fault; it's the crappy job of pods corporate who has not trained or empowered people to do what should be a very simple job. I wasted many many hours on the phone trying to get them to deliver the pods to the correct address, redeliver when they tried to deliver it to the wrong address, etc..I would never use them again, and I would always discourage people against trying them. They are horrible.

Very unfortunate experience. The PODS were fine and delivery was ok however we sustained damage to our landscape. It was the driver who alerted us to the issue, he was great, told us to proceed with a claim. We filed claim data per the direction from a PODS representative - and that is where it stopped. They will not respond to the claim data, never acknowledged receipt, and will not respond to multiple voice mails - in spite of providing a specific telephone number for follow up. With multiple unanswered voice mails and emails, it informs me that they have no intention to respond nor do they respect customer property. Beware, their "customer service" is non-existent.

I placed an order on July 7. I was told my POD would be delivered to my home August 5. I arranged my whole life based on this date. I was told I would get an email the day before a drop off at my originating home. I never received an email. I had to keep checking my account. After the POD was picked up, I received an email telling me to schedule a drop off date at the new home. WHAT? That date was already given to me! I click on the calendar and the next available date is August 17!!! WHAT!??That is 10 days LONGER than I was told! I call the company, I am given a ticket # for the request for the delivery date and told I would receive an email within 72 hours. EMAIL NEVER CAME! I CALL AGAIN! I am now told the same story the last guy told me 4 days ago! NO ONE in the company is making phone calls within the company to solve the problem! Meanwhile I am out of a job and sitting in an empty house with NOTHING since EVERYTHING I own is sitting in this POD that NO ONE can tell me when it is arriving at my house!I see class action lawsuit!

To whom it may concern I drive a semi and hall pods cross-country. From state to state, it is a easy way to move. Try them out when you get ready to move. We will haul them to wherever you need to go, have a great day.

Highly disappointed. We used PODs to move and have had a terrible experience.They lost our container for a month! If it wasn’t for us tracking it down it would probably still be lost. They made little effort to help us and we’re never responsive. We’ve spent over 10 hours on hold. The day they were suppose to deliver the container it never showed up. We had to call and find out PODS was charging us for the added time (extra month when lost) and until the additional $2,500 is paid they won’t deliver the container. This is UNETHICAL. We’re going on two months with this nonsense.

Excellent service! Our curvy, steep 1/2 mile drive way is no cake-walk to get up, but both the delivery driver and Cara the pick-up driver did a great job! Cara was very pleasant and professional and had the POD loaded in minutes! Thanks POD Moving & Storage!

PODS has the market covered for moving and storage. You can not go wrong with PODS. They provide safe and secure storage and transport of your valued goods. You have the time to pack your goods before transport to the new destination. PODS delivers the empty container to your driveway, you load up your goods, PODs picks up the container and delivers it to your new destination, what's easier than that ?

Cara MacAdam was incredible. My Pod was tightly nestled between scaffolding around my house and another pod and she maneuvered it around perfectly so as not to touch anything else and remove it from my driveway.

All good, except the second charge in my credit card after pick up. That wasn't completely clear to me when I booked the service.
