this place doesn't deserve any stars. I had a friend put in a toilet, and there was a hairline crack in the tank where the water sits. They refuse to return it. So in other words they won't give me my money back because there was water put in it. But a non professional installer is not gonna look for a hairline crack in the toilet tank. He installed the floor around the toilet and it leaked all over the floor and I'm freaking mad that I don't get my money back. I've had a toilet sitting in my living room since New Year's Eve. I'm really giving them no stars because they don't deserve any. Such lousy customer service.

Worst customer service ever, tried returning brand new product in pacakge with lifetime guarantee, never been used. Lady didnt offer any type of refund or storw credit.

I've tried many times to work with Danielle in Customer service / returns with dark hair and she is just plain rude. I wish it would have been 1 -2 visit experience, but I'm a regular to this store with a business account as well. Does not greet a customer, simply asks if there's an issue very aggressively only to let me know " there's nothing she can do" or " call the number..." Refuses to actually do her job, and has an attitude while doing it. Great customer service.

3rd recent crap service story - I am renovating an old condo. Spent hours researching bypass closet doors online. Odd size. Finally found one at Lowe's IN STOCK! Wow! I had some questions and wanted to speak with an associate, so I went into the store. I have chronic pain issues, and warehouse stores are not great for me. There was no scooter available, a problem in itself since there are many older and/or disabled people in Oceanside. I walked back to the door section, found the door I wanted and stood around for awhile. I asked someone to page for an associate, and they did. No one came to help me so I left. Associate Daniel was helping the two other guys who were standing around. I took a picture of the door with several warnings - including TRACKS ARE IN A SEPARATE PACKAGE (not a separate order). I went home and ordered the door online, with Lowe's delivery. bc the box said it takes two people to handle it. OK, I advised my handyman and he said he would bring a colleague and pick it up. So back I go to Lowe's, stand around at customer service while they figure out how to remove the delivery charge ($79) from my online order. Associate Daniel had to figure this out for another associate at the register. OK, all good so far, considering Lowe's typical bad service. So my handyman and his bro show up to pick up the damn thing and guess what - NO TRACKS. WTF?? Handyman said it was again Daniel who "helped them". They drove over to Oceanside from Escondido for this job. As I said in my other review, there is little competition so they get away with this crap service. I hate myself for continuing to patronize them. All I can do is warn prospective customers to avoid Lowe's if you can and watch them every step of the way since you can be sure they will let you down.

I am always disappointed when I go to Lowe's for a project. Their selection is slim and most of the time the item I need has to be ordered online. The store is full of Christmas items right now and yet they they were out of many electrical plugs that were supposedly in stock. Their app showed 12 of the item I needed but they were out of stock when I went to the store. There's supposed to be a hardware store not a Christmas boutique. Getting help is almost impossible. And when you find someone they really don't know what they're talking about.

Terrible customer service. I was looking for a specific product in the lumber department and was disrespectfully disregarded by not one but two employees within a matter of 5 mins. I had a lumber cart full of material that I ended up pushing to the side before I walked out of the store because I was so pissed about being treated in that manner. This was not the first bad experience I've had at Lowe's but it was by far the worst. Will not be spending another dime at Lowe's as long as I live.(Lowe's, PLEASE no need to reply because I've read your previous replies on other customer reviews and it looks like a copy and paste, generic response. Sure doesn't seem like the company cares much. This is specifically to inform the public that they are subject to crummy service when shopping at your store in Vista)

Very disappointed with Lowes system.I paid for a purchase online using our Pro Act rewards only to receive damaged merchandise. Upon return I was given a store credit for in store use only. No online purchases. What a joke. You spend all year with the business only to receive an in store credit for their mistakes.I brought it up to their attention and “ that’s all they can do”Thanks for treating a military family who supports Lowes Pros like dirt.

If I could give 0 stars I would.. I'm very dissatisfied with the way my warranty process on a generator that I bought in April 2023 is going. I bought a Westinhouse generator April 2023, now november 2023 it has gone out. Then I go into the store To ask what do I need to do to warranty it? And they tell me because of the date of purchase I have to go through the manufacturer understandable. Ask for a contact information for the manufacturer and they say they don't have it. I contacted the manufacturer Westinhouse. They told me where to take it to a service center Nearby to determine if it's repairable or not.And now my generator sitting there and not going to be looked at for over a month. I wish I never purchased anything from lowes. I wish the almost 800 dollars I spent on this generator I could of purchased it at harbor freight or Costco. There I could just take the product to the store and they deal with the manufacturer. Biggest regret ever.

Have to agree with the other reviews. My husband and I stopped in to purchase a dishwasher. The salesperson, Jay, asked us to wait while he helped another customer purchase an appliance which was absolutely fine and we were very polite and let him know it was not a problem. We waited roughly 20 mins-no complaints. As he was finishing, another customer went to the desk, and rather than advising her that he'd be with her after helping us, the same way he did to us, he began assisting her. I advised him that we had to leave to pick up our kids from school and would have to come another time and he snapped at me stating that l "could wait 20 seconds" for him to finish. At this point I said no thank you, and that we'd be leaving, and then this man started following me around the store! I had to tell him to please get away from me as he was walking after me and speaking to me aggressively. I grabbed a photo of the item we wanted and left. My husband tried to purchase the dishwasher at the front with another employee and we were told only Jay could help us or we'd have to wait for someone else to come back for lunch. Money spent elsewhere. Go to Carlsbad location. We've never had that experience there. Weird times.

We ordered a toilet. Lowes said it was in, so we drove the 60 miles RT to get it, but it was just the seat. A week later, they told us the toilet itself had arrived, and we drove to pick it up. Turns out, they didn't give us the tank. I asked for them to deliver it, and they said it would be $80, despite admitting it was their fault. So, we need to make another 60 mile trip.

Well laid out store. Easy to park, easy to get into. Easy to find help when you need it. Friendly service and a great line up of products.
