This is my first yelp review ever...I'm not one to write them, but people need to be warned about this place. Went to the showroom in October 2023 with my Grandma of all people because she wanted to gift me a dresser for a move. I have been out of the furniture shopping game for awhile and didn't want anything super expensive, so I'd thought I'd give this place a go (without having seen any reviews). Salesperson that helped us was super nice and helpful especially towards my grandma who doesn't do well with technology, but wanted to be the buyer. She ended up purchasing me a new dresser and matching nightstand and added assembly and delivery to my address for the purchase. Totaling over 600 dollars with tax which is a pretty penny in my book. Furniture looked and felt nice at showroom. Delivery day comes and the two men put the dresser against the wall where I wanted it and left very quick, but were nice. (Granted this delivery cost about an extra 70 dollars) The following weeks after closer looks at it I was unhappy with the quality...all corners of the furniture had small amounts of chipping from where it was wrapped during delivery, drawer endings aren't lined up straight, the top left knob crooked. I still liked the looks of it so I tried to tell myself not to be so picky, but I thought to myself the quality definitely is not there and no way it's real wood if it is advertised to be. Come to now... I bend down to unplug a light from the outlet behind my dresser that I never have to unplug and there's a huge crack in the backboard. Now, I didn't look behind it during the delivery process...thought why would I need to? And I really can't be sure if it happened during the delivery process. I don't overstuff the drawers, I don't keep anything heavy on top of it...bottom line a 6 month old dresser shouldn't do this. I wasn't worried at all though because I knew it had a limited warranty and I had a good experience with the customer service at the showroom. WRONG. The warranty covers nothing I am SHOCKED. So if your furniture is damaged during the delivery that YOU pay extra money for they won't cover it. I wouldn't have purchased any furniture from here had I known about such a policy. Anyways, I make a claim about the damage minus anything about it being from delivery because it might have not even happened during that time. Filing the claim it gives an option about having cracks or damage in the furniture and to submit photos with a short caption. Luckily my brother was with me because I couldn't lift the thing away from the wall on my own. I submit the claim and they (the bot) says to expect a phone call within 1-3 business days about it. I get a call 10 MINUTES later with a quick hello and the guy saying they don't cover damage of any sort anything else I can help you with? No? goodbye. Are you kidding? No other options once so ever to help me with this situation and I wasted all that time having to move the thing away from the wall to submit the pictures for nothing? I was planning on going in store to see if they could do anything, but after reading these reviews why would I bother? Also, don't trust the google rating it's 4.9 stars, but this yelp is the real deal. BEYOND disappointed and I will never buy anything from living spaces again and will never recommend it to anyone. I really feel sorry for anyone that has had to deal with any issues from this company.

Prices are on the low end tho not sure if it's worth the head ache. Furnished a whole house and many items arrived unacceptable.. sofa and loveseat cushions that are too small. It took almost 3 months to get it corrected. Like many other reviews mentioned, they make the warranty process such a hassle, like they want you will give up.

Went in on a Saturday, and our new couch was delivered the very next day, in perfect condition and exactly as expected. Jordan helped us out and showed us a bunch of great options that fit our needs. They were super knowledgeable about the different couches available and any customization options available. I appreciated how the staff doesn't follow you around super close, they just hang back and are available if needed. Overall a wonderful experience. We have several pieces from Living Spaces in our home and love all of them!

I spent quite a while here with many changes and back and forth decisions. Brianne and Courtney were absolutely amazing. There are SO many options to choose from, it can be slightly overwhelming. They were very patient, kind and helpful. They listened to what I was looking for, talked through my various options and made great recommendations. I would most definitely recommend shopping here for any and all furniture/decor needs!

Carlos is the best - he was so patient with us and offered us so many ideas for our space. He even moved around furniture so we could get better aesthetic of what we were seeing. We ended up buying so many pieces and he never left us hanging. Ask for Carlos when you stop by!

A Nightmare Experience with Living Spaces - A Cautionary TaleI cannot emphasize enough how horrendous my experience with Living Spaces at 1900 University Dr, Vista, CA 92083 has been. My recent purchase of bedroom furniture from this establishment has turned into an absolute nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my harrowing ordeal.On November 20, I purchased a set of bedroom furniture, with the promise of timely delivery. The cabinet was taken immediately, but the rest of the items were scheduled for delivery on November 26. Little did I know, this marked the beginning of a series of disappointments and frustrations.The delivery, initially postponed to December 5, never materialized. Shockingly, there was not a single call informing me of the delay or any indication that they had forgotten about my order. It wasn't until I took matters into my own hands and visited the store on December 10 that I discovered the shocking truth – they claimed they no longer had the furniture in stock and were unable to fulfill the order, contradicting their earlier assurances of availability.To add insult to injury, when we returned the cabinet on December 22, a process that they initiated themselves, they issued a check promising a prompt return of funds to my bank card. However, today is December 28, and not a single cent has been returned. Upon contacting the store, I was met with blatant incompetence and indifference. Astonishingly, they insisted that they had no record of the returned bedside table in their system and were unwilling to process the refund.This entire episode has been an absolute nightmare, characterized by broken promises, misinformation, and an appalling lack of customer service. Living Spaces has proven to be an unreliable and unprofessional company that cares little for its customers' time and well-being. I strongly advise anyone considering a purchase from this establishment to steer clear unless they want to endure wasted time, frayed nerves, and an overall terrible shopping experience. Save yourself the headache and find a more reputable furniture retailer – Living Spaces is simply not worth the trouble.

Razz was absolutely incredible. His knowledge of the products, colors, and styles blew us away. He helped us make great furniture and rug choices. He is a great person and we loved talking with him. It was an amazing experience.

Amazing. We just moved across the country, and everyone at the showroom were so amazing and helpful. We were able to get everything we needed to fill our dream house here in San Diego. Very professional, and very personable. Absolutely the best.

After speaking to a Manager and being promised for sure my delivery was coming today with all the pieces, two items are a no show. This had been going on for weeks. Time for a refund. Forget it!!!

I received a call that after 3 1/2 months of waiting, my order was being cancelled as the manufacturer was not responding. I was told I would get a refund. I just wish they would have been more upfront during the process.

I purchased custom order furniture from this store in early October 2023. I paid in full at the time and signed a detailed Terms and Conditions Form with a delivery date of 4-5 weeks delivery. After 8 weeks and calling multiple times (zero contact from them) I called and received the message that "your furniture is not in our warehouse and we have no delivery time-frame at this time". I was informed that their Terms are that any time-estimate is just an estimate and there is no recourse for significant delays. They have lost a customer and I advise no one to buy anything from this establishment. Their business practices are beyond sketchy.....basically you pay the full amount and we will deliver your furniture when we get around to it! If you don't like it, you lose your full amount paid. Avoid this place like the plague!

We had an excellent experience there. Two associates were very helpful in selecting our matching couch & reclining love seat. (Brianna & Elsie). Our purchase of a dark leather Scandinavian chair& foot stool were suggested to contrast the light color and we appreciated their moving it to the couch & chair so we could decide.? We'll be back.

Last week my husband and I bought a custom made ottoman for bedroom , a living room couch and a recliner. We told the salesperson that we weren't sure if the 3 seat or loveseat was going to fit better. So we bought the bigger one and she said when you get home remeasure. We did and called about 30 minutes later and changed it. No problem she said just have to split the ticket as 2 different orders and the finance would say 6 months 0 interest but then when couch delivered it would go back to 2 years. The salesperson also said if you don't like it call within 7 days delivery and we could exchange to the other couch we really liked. Well now it's delivered and the color and style just didn't go well so we called on day of delivery and everyday after that for 3 days. I go into store and they said sorry you have a restocking fee and they were out of stock on other couch. I asked could I just wait for it to come back or store credit so it could be an exchange and not pay the restocking fee they said no and I would have to pay another delivery fee to pick up. Since it's 2 separate orders I had to pay 2 restocking fees and 2 delivery fees and no couch exchange! I got screwed from all angles. No couch and paid 99 dollars 3 times plus 10% on both loveseat price and recliner price. I'm out over $500 and no furniture. Customer service and manager just kept saying we are out of stock so no exchanges ugh.....do not shop here! What a rip off!
