What this company does should be illegal.
The exorbitant prices they charge for the same product that can be found on Amazon for 1/100th the price is immoral. Customer service is an absolute joke where I had to wait over a week just to get a one sentence reply that did not even address my concern. There is no way I would have accepted the product at the doctors office had I known the price. What a scam. I hope you all are shut down and sued for price gouging.

3 pieces of equipment provided…billed for 4 and only removed after a threat to file complaints. No customer service. They refuse to take ownership

Ordered the Aircast A60 from an Amazon seller.... the box looks as though its been thrown around the dispatch area then kicked from one end of the warehouse to the other. The size does not match the description, i would say its a shoe size 6 not a 9. Very disappointed, Amazon seller will not refund, Amazon not interested in helping. I will avoid this product and DJO Global from now on, along with the Amazon seller -'feels like christmas ltd'.. . Feels anything like Christmas.

These folks are the worst bottom feeders on the planet! Urged by physician to take a crappy brace I didn't need and then receive additional bill from DJO. Called SEVENTEEN times until connected with a call center in India where I could hear nor understand customer service. They have no way to email the company (for obvious reasons) and all phone #s eventually route back to their app previously mentioned atrocious customer service. Check all the complaints on the Better Business Bureau website and it will tell you all you need to know about these dirtbags

Received a walking boot from my Dr. For my foot pain and upcoming surgery. Went home and researched the price and it was a fraction of the price on line. Called the number on my receipt and they said to donate it or dispose of it and they would take the charge off my bill. Other than the language barrier I felt it was good customer service

These people should be in jail. My kid went to a doctor who unfortunately works with them and got a wrist strap which is 30 dollars on Amazon. They billed 200 dollars for it. Insurance laughed and they should laugh - who pays 200 dollars for a wrist strap. Now I am stuck with a 160 dollar bill for basically a wrist strap.

Product - Post op square toe shoe.... ankle strap velcro ineffective. The strap just gives way and you step out of shoe. Hard to trust you are safe when walking when this happens. After less than a month the boot walking base has cracked!Billing - tried to pay bill and was told I had to wait until DJO could get it ready... this after insurance company had already mailed me statement. Paid bill online when invoice did arrive - started getting collection calls 4 days after paying invoice and payment cleared bank. Attempted to return collection call and female told me rudely system is down and hung up... next day I called and got a very rude gentlemen who could not figure out my payment confirmation information, just said bill not paid status and I needed to talk to accounts receivable to figure out why.Would give zero star due to multiple negative reasons.

This company is a complete scam. I received a wrist brace from urgent care. 3 weeks later I received a bill from DJO got almost $200! this cheap thing costs about $30 at CVS. I asked for a refund and the lady told me she can't supply I discount because my insurance already paid $13. I again asked about a refund and the lady tells me I signed agreeing to the 14 day return policy...so they purposely bill you a ridiculous price after the return policy has passed and adjustments are made so they can't offer you any assistance. I will never accept anything from DJO from another provider if I can help it.

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE COMPANY!! i was billed for what my surgeon told me would be covered under insurance yet received the bill over a month later. i never used or opened the product yet they say no returns after 14 days. when i called i was hung up on purposely twice. when asked to talk to a manager on call 3 they simply said no after calls 5 and 6 i did talk to someone that simply said you can pay the bill or we can send it to collections( remind you this was still day one of receiving the bill) call 7 a different manager gave me a email to send my concern to. they also stated i should get a reply within the hour. well its been over 48 hours and i have sent 5 emails. I'm not even going to mention how bad the product looked , sealed in the bag or how i could barley understand what any of the 9 people i talked to where saying. lets just say English was not there primary language. or how the bill that came looked like junk mail ( If i didn't see my doctors name on it i would have thrown it away) if i could give negative stars i would .. total joke of a company they need to be shut down

Ripoff and unethical. They charge four times as much for a product that you can easily get elsewhere online. Unfortunately, our medical provider didn't tell us that or we would've just ordered it ourselves after the appointment. Customer service was unwilling to do anything and claimed that the price had to do with things like administrative costs. This company is unethical and should be investigated. Update: they e-mailed me privately under the guise of making things right, and when I e-mailed them back all they did was justify their pricing while blaming me, the insurance company, and the provider. This company is pathetic and their customer service is non-existent - don't even bother trying to contact them. Zero accountability, not to mention being in bed with the insurance companies and providers, and then acting like they're innocent even though they sell the same product for almost the same ridiculous price whether you get it at the doctor's office or on their website.

I agree with EVERYONE on this review page that DJO is a corrupt organization. I had the same experience at a clinic. I signed their Agreement (which allows DJO to bill your insurance company separately from the clinic's billing). There is no price list provided along with this form but you expect the charges will be reasonable. NOPE! As is the case with most insurance coverage these days there is no coverage until you reach a high deductable. This, then allows DJO to bill you almost $200 for a device that can be found at any retail site for ~$75. Multiple efforts to have a more reasonable billing for this ineffective walking boot (Model L4361) were met with explanations that this price gouging effort is supported in the fine print of the document you sign at the clinic. DO NOT ACCEPT A DJO DEVICE FROM YOUR MEDICAL PROVIDER!

DJO is SCAM! If you get a medical device from the hospital, make sure to ask if it is coming from DJO and if so, say no and do not accept the device. They will not file the claim with your insurance company properly and that is so you have to pay more. It doesn't matter how many times you try and dispute the claim, they will give you the run around and promise to "fix" the issue when really they just keep sending the bill until you pay it. No one at the company speaks English so it's very hard to understand anyone who represents the company. It is SHOCKING that this company still exists, that hospitals/clinics continue to use them and that they haven't been shut down for corruption.

DJO makes no attempt at normal billing practices. I started getting "collection" calls from DJO about a month after getting a brace from my Dr. There was never a bill or invoice sent, just straight to relentless collection calls. DJO seems to use an offshore call center to make initial contact, then they pass you off to a specialist after you answer. The person making the initial contact is rude & unprofessional, and probably hasn't figured out why people hang up on him. They are also VERY hard to hear clearly. Regardless, I immediately paid my $29 bill and thought I was done. The calls continued for about 2 more weeks. 4 more calls, some as early as 5am. Each time I would get transferred to a specialist who would then discover that my account was paid and in good standing. This company is unprofessional and unorganized. They should not be operating in any sort of healthcare capacity.
