$100 diagnostic fee, $250 for a sensor, did not fix problem. Stuck in same position as I started. They offered to take car back in and waive diagnostic fee, but don't understand that because if they couldn't fix it the first time, not sure what would change the second. Front desk helper was great.

I went to the AutoZone closest to the Perlman Clinic when I noticed that my Toyota Prius C’s tire sensor light was on.I was immediately helped by a lady staffer who walked w/ me to my car so we find the right tire sensor caps (one of mine likely blew away from all the rainstorms) that I bought for around $4+, while a staffer named Andres kindly also put air back into all 4 of my tires to fully get rid of the tire sensor light warning, at no extra charge.Andres also advised me to go to Discount Tires for any extra heavy duty tire air pressure help if needed since Andres was using a portable $180 jumpstart w/ tire pressure refill machine for my emergency.Thankfully my tire sensor light warning went away - thank you Andres and the lady cashier at that AutoZone Vista nears to the Perlman Clinic for your timely help!

I'm beyond angry with AutoZone and their employees' lack of knowledge about what they're supposed to be helping with. Over the weekend my car broke down due to an alternator issue. I was able to catch a ride from my friend on Sunday so I could get a new part and get it installed so I could get back home, and be able to work Monday (I was stranded with my car in Vista otherwise). I get to the store and give them my car information and let them know what I needed. While trying to check out, the employee was getting increasingly frustrated as there appeared to be an issue with their system. The employee helping me was arguing with his coworker, cursing and dropping F-bombs, obviously not very professional but whatever. Given that it's the holidays I had no choice but to spend the last of my money and over draft my card to get what I needed- as long as my car was working, I'd accept the penalty fees for several pending charges I knew would go through after. After waiting for everything to go through, I finally headed out, but as soon as I got to the car, I realized they gave me a remanufactured part- which I didn't ask for. I was desperate to get my car working and unfortunately a return would take days to process back to my account, and I wouldn't be able to further overdraft my card on a new part now and handle the return later, as it would be too large of a purchase to go through when I was already so far into the negative. I went home but unfortunately wasn't able to get the part installed right away, so I had to miss work Monday and had to call a mobile mechanic to come out and install the part. He instantly looked at the part and told me the part was wrong and that AutoZone had sold me a part that would be for a 2.8 engine, but that I had a 1.8- which I knew about my own car but was never asked about in store when I gave them my car info. I had no transportation at this time so I was worried about having to pay for the labor that was already done, but not being able to get the correct part on. My mechanic asked me to call AutoZone and put them on speaker, and see if they have the correct part currently. I called and explained to the rep what happened and again gave my car info. He tried to insist my car was a 2.8 and that the part should fit, and it took me repeating several times that it's not a 2.8 and that I was looking at the part and that it definitely did not fit. Finally the rep said that he had a part that "should work". I flat out asked "should work or will work", as in trying to trust this person to give me accurate information. His response was "I dunno, ask your mechanic". I was mad and my mechanic was mad, as I can guarantee you most people are putting trust that the employees know what they're talking about. My mechanic ended up locating a part for me elsewhere that was a guaranteed fit but almost another $80 extra. Since I still didn't have any money, transportation, and a return wouldn't process fast enough, I was able to get the money from someone else to be able to get the correct part from my mechanic which he picked up for me. Unfortunately this meant I was also paying extra for more labor time too- with a mobile mechanic, labor is not cheap. When I was finally able to get my car running I went back to AutoZone to return the part, no apologies for their error, no acknowledgement, nothing. I stood there for another 15mins while I waited for a manager to approve the return, which unfortunately I didn't get back to my account for another two days. So overall I had to spend extra money on labor, the correct but more expensive part, and overdraft fees that I would've been happy to accept if I gotten the correct part in the first place. Because of this mistake I had to spend an extra $250 in labor and parts, and I got effed with multiple overdraft fees. I definitely won't be going to AutoZone for parts again, I know multiple people that I told this to that have said the same; my mechanic already hated

Thank you to the Autozone people who work here :). Steve especially for coming out and making sure it was the right part. They helped me get what I needed and gave me a lot of helpful advice. They also had a lot in stock for my Honda.

They are wonderful! Always willing to help and answer questions!! I went to another location and this location was willing to install a new battery after purchase! I came back the two days later and purchased new windshield wipers, again they were kind enough to help me install them too. Thank you so much!!

I wanted to give Andrew a big shout out! I went in during a very busy time. There was only one person at the time helping. Andrew came in and started getting to all the customers while answering phone calls and calling other stores to check for parts. He truly knows how to handle a stressful situation. I needed to replace my battery. He installed it for me. Great attitude. Great customer service! 5 stars for Andrew!

If you read nothing else of this review, just know that I was given excellent customer service by the staff at this store, especially by Maria O, and I'm left feeling valued and appreciated. It's interactions like this that make me a customer for life!I arrived having researched the part number I needed, so I figured I'd be in and out of the store in record time. I was greeted upon entry, and asked if I'd like any assistance. I was ready to peruse the aisles myself, but just mentioned that I was here for a bulb replacement for my front headlight. Maria led me to the bulbs and during our brief walk, I read the part number aloud. She instinctively knew exactly where it was, and within seconds, I was at the counter paying for the item. She noted an option for a discount with my transaction, and applied it without me even having to ask.I was in and out of the store, even faster than I had anticipated, having saved a little money, but the best part was still to come!I was also given guidance and assistance in replacing my headlight bulbs, which were both installed in record time. Maria was helpful in teaching me how to remove the old bulbs, and was wise when mentioning the kinds of things to consider when replacing the bulbs. Maria was awesome! And once again, the staff at this Vista AutoZone location continues to impress and has earned my accolades of being THE ABSOLUTE BEST IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I came in for a last minute brake light replacement and Jesus was such a great help with the entire process of figuring out which bulbs to get as well as pulling off my tail light. He figured out that my bulb wasn’t burnt out it was just pulled loose from the wiring, he helped me get a quick return done and sent me on my way. I appreciate his kind attitude and all his assistance with this situation.

Went in today for an A/C recharge kit. Maria O. was outstanding. She went above and beyond to explain how to use it, make sure it was the right product, and remind me to recycle the can at the store for a deposit refund. Service like that is rare and refreshing.
