This ARCO / AMPM station at N. Santa Fe in Vista claims to sell propane. However 7 out 10 times there is only one employee who can't leave the store to fill your propane tanks. The other one is "on lunch", no matter what time you get there. If you can't provide the service, then don't offer it at all. Also went there twice to get diesel when it took 5 minutes to pump a gallon.

Came in the pouring rain at 230 am needing gas as my truck was literally sputtering to the pump. Only having cash on me I trusted the ampm name to uphold its reputation of being open when ever you need them, lights are all on. There's an employees vehicle with a person inside it laying down. Doors are locked. No note, no hours posted . I'm extremely disappointed by this. As I'm writing this experience down its now been 30 minutes since my arrival, no change in status. What an extreme let down and stroke of bad luck. Who wants to be stuck at a gas station at these hours ?

Two stars since I think the real management wants to allow their customers to use the restroom one star if I was really rating the two ladies that were working there today on Sunday at noon their bathroom has electronic lock on it I know this I've used it before they lied to me and told me unless it opens somebody's in there so I waited around and try to you know be cool maybe whatever you know no one's obviously coming out of there for a long time I'm banging on it no answer no one's in there it's obvious so I go and tell him tonight oh someone could be passed out in there like you might have a drug person pass out there why don't you call the cops obviously they're just lying because they don't want to clean up the restrooms that should probably part of their job they have to say that though cuz I'm sure the management would rather provide a nice restroom experience for his loyal customers these ladies completely lied it said somebody must be passed out of there and that it happens being a locksmith I was easily able to open the door of the credit card no one was in there bathroom works fine those ladies just suck

fyi car wash is 8am-8pm but DONT buy a car wash here. i like the convince of it and often opt-in while i'm getting gas i came on sunday night to get gas, hard seltzer, and a car wash. didnt realize car wash closed so i came back today, they excepted my code but fine but my car never aligned in the wash, it said backup but i couldn't. i pulled around to ask the cashier for a refund bc 24hr car washes are more my speed. but she pulled out a receipt saying the wash had already been used...at 1:34???? it was around 2:40 at the time so that made zero sense. the receipt she gave me said the code was issued at 9:55pm on sunday, i was there an hr later at 10:53. so the issued two of the same code and even better the manager won't be in until tomorrow...my car is still dirty, sam will be getting an earful tomorrow. tldr; they give out multiples on the same code so u might not get the wash u paid for or the refund if the manager isn't there.

Only go to this station occasionally for gas but used to stop by often (almost daily) for a soda with "crunched" ice (yes they added the "n" to it). The crunched part broke ages ago, replacing it with cubed. Asked the cashier if it was ever going to be get fixed but was told the owner didn't want to pay to have it fixed. They mentioned the loss of the sales because of it. Well they've lost mine. If I want a soda I'll go somewhere more convenient. For crushed ice lovers AM/PM-Arco was known for the ice. Too bad the owner is not keeping up and is too cheap to make proper repairs. Long post about ice huh?

Gas station looks busy and good. Never used it as I only went for the car wash. Wash was good until the dryer only worked for 1 min. Left the car wet. Will not recommend this place for a car wash. Spend your money elsewhere for a car wash.

*SCAM ALERT* Went to pump gas this morning and gave the cashier $20 for pump 7 and the cashier appeared to not be paying attention. When I went to my car the gas wouldn't start so I went back and asked the cashier to turn the pump on again and he apologized. I went back to my car and the pump didn't start again. I went back to the cashier and he said he started pump 4 and that someone already pumped the gas. The cashier told me he wouldn't give me my money back and that if I kept on asking he would call the police! Another employee got involved and also threatened to call the police on me. I had to leave and call my husband for help and told them to check their cameras to figure out the truth. The employees were both Asians and both threatened to call the police! These two must be scamming their customers and taking their money and threaten their customers by calling the police!

Always a friendly staff. Greets you as you walk through the door. Good selection of coffee. Deals on snacks, waters and soda change all the time which is nice.

The worse station around, the pumps dont work 1/2 the times and then if you can get them to work, it NEVER prints a receipt. Yes, I know how to press the YES to print button, The guy working on them said I didnt. Then he said go inside for a receipt. Really!! There is one cashier and 8 people in line, if I wanted to go inside and do full service- I would of done it originally

Three strikes and they are out. I have tried on three occasions to buy gas from the pump. Once again, nothing!!! I will NEVER TRY again! This time it said "processing please wait". Forever! It never changed. No more, I will not support incompetance. I went down the street to 7-11 without issue and without frustration (over AMPM wasting my time again!).
