I have been with this insurance company for more than 8 years l.As I spoke with Ryan over the phone today, he helped me to process my payment for earthquake insurance.What happened is when I tried to login to the Earthquake insurance website, it didn't allow me to make a payment before my auto payment date! ????So I made a phone call to Alta Vista insurance, I was transferred to Ryan, the representative agent.He was friendly and patient to hear about my problem, and he solved my problem, too.????As a consumer, all I needed might seem like a simple help, but, it is a big favor in my mind.Thanks, Ryan.

Canceled 8.3k worth of insurance and they refuse to give unearned premiums back. I've been an entrepreneur 28 years, worst insurance company I've ever seen. Now dealing with CA Insurance Commission.

Seth Arruda found an affordable insurance provider for my rental property in San Diego County when the big providers turned me down because they weren't accepting new properties in the area. I wish Seth had been my first call - would have saved me hours of searching on my own!

Alta Vista used to be a great company. After having them as agents for probably a decade now, I had to search for new agents.... Alta Vista agent, Raymond, was not responsive to my calls and my emails, did not provide my mortgage company with the new policy, which created a huge mess, a gap in coverage, lots of phone calls and documents I had to submit by myself, I was over charged for extra insurance provided by the mortgage, and I am still trying to fix his (Raymond's) mistakes. After many efforts, they had me sign docs for a new policy, which cancelled within days. Alta Vista (Raymond) never bothered providing my home with a different coverage. I moved on, as other customers did.

If you're looking for a company that values their customers, look no further. Raymond answered ALL of my questions, made switching my policy a breeze and since I decided to increase my auto limits/add renters insurance he was able to find something that barely increased my (former) monthly payment.I recommend Alta Vista to anyone who already has or is looking for a new policy.

Found out our insurance policy was not active. Contacted Seth but he was not helpful at all. We had to quickly find another company. I sent him messages asking if he received notification of our policy ending. NO RESPONSE from him. Awful! To be clear no inquiries from Alta Insurance our agent Seth about our insurance not been by renewed March 2020! We had no idea it was not renewed. Then when I tried to reach out to them once I realized we had no home insurance no response from him or the agency. Called Travelers and was told that policy was not paid by mortgage company. All concerned dropped the ball. Sorry but Seth is our agent why would he not contact me or my husband.

Alta Vista Insurance was recommended from a friend. We needed workman's comp and liability insurance for our small business. Kacey G. has been our contact, polite with obvious experience. We had some changes along the way. Kacey has been quick and efficient helping thru the process. I recommend Kacey G. and Alta Vista for all your insurance needs.

Everyone at Alta Vista is extremely friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. I have two active policies with this agency currently, and adding or changing policies and coverage is simple and easy. Highly recommended!
