The staff here are so helpful. Jesse at the front desk has made my stay here especially good. Good breakfast every morning and comfy clean beds at night.I do wish the pool area floor was less slippery but parents just need to make sure kids are careful. It was quite slick!

Really good hotel for this price. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Good location with walkable access to food and groceries options, so you can stretch legs a bit after few hours drive. I will choose this hotel once again if I do another trip to Sequoia NP.

The room was NASTY! The floor was sticky and dirty. The fridge didn’t work. The microwave was broken, dirty and out dated, there was visible mold places. It shared a wall with the boiler/utility laundry room and was across from the indoor pool so smelled strong. The worst part was there was blood on one of the toiletries bottle of lotion! Maybe we were unlucky and got the most outdated filthiest room….. but this room shouldn’t even be offered unless it was for 1/4 of the price and with acknowledgment that it needs to be updated remodeled and CLEANEDRooms: The room was NASTY! Staff are really nice and helpful and rooms are clean. Unfortunately the gym doesn’t have any weights and 3 out of 5 machines were out of order.

Clean and confortable rooms. They can improve the breakfast offer, but the place is very convenient in your way to Sequoia. If you stay 2 nights in Visalia, you can get free entrance to the Parks.

The rooms were clean and there is a hot breakfast. Conviently located near to Sequoia National Park.I was so impressed that the breakfast offered almond milk. Great idea to cater to a wider variety of guests who may have milk allergies! We did have empty shampoo and conditioner dispensers in our shower when we arrived. Didn't notice until half of our party was sleeping. So had to wait until AM to get more. We were given small courtesy sized bottles which we appreciated very much. The hot tub is currently being fixed, but the took looked well maintained.I love the local photography displayed in the rooms. Very beautiful as opposed to most hotel chains abstract art choices.Overall this is a great location for tourists!

Stayed here during our trip to Sequoia, everything was spot on except the pool. It was dirty, like disgusting dirty. The water was almost murky. Both the pool and hot tub. Tons of hair floating in the pool. And what do you know, the next day they closed the pool and had out of order signs posted on the doors.

I booked this hotel in Mid of May 2023 and cancelled the reservation on May 21st 2023. I had my reservation from May 31st to Jun 2nd 2023 which costed me around $466.29. These guys did not refund me even a single penny and charged me full amount even if I cancelled the reservation 10 days before the check in day. Absolutely disgusting. Do not book this place. If you have change in travel plans these guys will rip you off your entire money. I wish I could give them negative stars.

Nice room but paper thin walls. 1;00am dog whining for 20 minutes then someone had their tv on loud for at least an hour. Even with earplugs I could hear them snoring at 3:00am.

ISAAC the liar. Worse experience ever. He gave my reservation to someone else, just because, then ISAAC says he isn't responsible, then, fake calls the other nearby La Quinta hotel, and lies to me that they have rooms available to just go and "he will transfer my information to them." so I'll get a room over there.I have a newborn crying in the car because he is tired, we are exhausted from the long drive, and now we're stuck with no hotel room because they gave out our room to someone else, even though we had reserved it 4 days before. My gut tells me ISAAC was lying, I get in the car and call the same hotel he called, instantly get an answer from the customer service at that other hotel and they say they are fully booked, NO ROOM AVAILABLE. ISAAC lied to me, he just told me they had rooms available, to just drive over there.I go back inside the office and ask ISAAC, who he spoked to, and why he lied to me. He said, "I don't remember the name" and "stop accusing me of lying to you". I said, call again and get the person to answer and tell you there's rooms available. He couldn't get anyone to answer, because they never did, but he lied to me, to waste time and gas, driving to the other hotel 20 minutes away, to get there and be told there isn't any rooms. My newborn keeps crying because he is hungry, needs a change, we're exhausted, and now we're calling to find a room, on a weekend. Finally, we find the only available hotel within 45 minute drive.. Now we're FORCED to pay high weekend rates, totalling almost $300 for a queen size bed, for 1 night.IMAGINE hearing your baby cry for 45 minutes straight because he is hungry and tired, but he is stuck in a car seat, because the hotel room we booked in advanced at LA Quinta Visalia, gave our room to someone else.ISAAC was no help, kept telling me he wasn't responsible for what happened, that there was no manager, he was the only one working there. Kept saying there was nothing he can do, but did lie to me about the other LA Quinta, having rooms available.I will be posting a complaint with the BBB, this was uncalled for, cause my baby a lot of stres

My family and I had to come to Visalia, for my fathers funeral. While checking into the hotel, the desk person, Yvonne, made sure everything was ready for us to check in. Even after that, she always said hello to us and our dog.The breakfast at the hotel was just simple items, but they were always fresh and delicious. The reasons for only 4 stars: 1) Parking at the hotel always seemed to be a problem for the week we were there. 2) There was some type of problem with the cups/lids for the complimentary coffee in the lobby. We constantly had problems putting the lids on the coffee cups. The lids seemed like they were too small. Quite a few times, my wife and I ended up spilling hot coffee on ourselves because the lids kept coming off.Noteworthy details: Lots of choices nearby for dining out.

We were charged $40 for pink stains on towels that didn't come out supposedly. We don't have dyed hair, there's nothing to explain the pink stains from us, we are very tidy individuals when we use a hotel. We don't have the money to pay for hotels very often, it's a huge stretch for us and $40 for 2 towels with "unbleachable" stains is totally out of line. Things stain when you don't deal with them quick enough, and we were only there one night. This makes me nervous about staying in any hotel, much less this one again. I can't afford a charge that large out of left field. We are always very careful the 1-2 nights a year we stay in a hotel and we leave rooms very neat. This would be a zero star if we could. Pool was VERY cold even though they said it was a heated pool. Lights were never on in the pool area. Hot tub reeked of chlorine.

3 days just to myself! I love that their is plenty of things all around the hotel. Also it's right of the freeway so it's very convenient and easy to find. The breakfast they have is awesome they have a lot of choices to choose from and right next to the hotel is a Adventure Park with plenty of game including mini golf and even a real golf course a few miles away, plus every hotel needs a pool in it and this place has one to.Rooms: The rooms were very very clean with seals on the doors to ensure cleanliness. Big TV nice beds and big restrooms.Nearby activities: Their is plenty of things you can do. Nest door their is a Adventure Park with plenty of arcade games and mini golf plus a real golf course a few miles away.Safety: Well lit area and only key card entry into the hotel grounds and their is also a police station near by.Walkability: You have a option to walk and go to restaurants in the area from sit down restaurant to fastfoods.Food & drinks: Free breakfast with good options and they have vending machines

Foster Freeze is a fast-food chain that specializes in soft-serve ice cream, burgers, and fries. The restaurant is known for its classic diner-style atmosphere and menu, offering a range of classic American fast-food favorites. Many people enjoy Foster Freeze for its nostalgic feel and affordable prices. The soft-serve ice cream is a particular favorite, with a variety of flavors and toppings available. However, some critics argue that the quality of the food at Foster Freeze is not particularly high, and the menu lacks innovation and creativity. In addition, some people may find the restaurant's retro-style decor outdated or unappealing.Overall, opinions on Foster Freeze tend to be positive among those who appreciate classic fast-food and diner-style cuisine, but the restaurant may not be for everyone.
