What happened to customer service in Costco? Costco in Visalia seem to have lost the most important thing in customer relationships at the very least being courteous... I just recently visited this warehouse in Visalia, CA, employees were rude, obnoxious, and down right condescending. I was at the back of the warehouse getting bottle water and the guy that was handling the hand held dolly seem annoyed at everyone who was getting bottled water. Maybe people were getting in his way, regardless the attitude towards the customers were not warranted... Another incident happen earlier, I brought in a flat bed cart, I just set it aside for 30 seconds when I came back an employee grab it.

Kudos to Teresa at the exit door at the Visalia Costco. She’s the one who noticed that I had forgotten 3 paid items back at the checkout.

Hanford manager lied and tried to force us to purchase a membership to be able to use the gift card we got as a gift for our anniversary. He only allowed us to use it when I took out my phone and started to record the interaction. He said he would 'allow it this one time' but claimed in the near future all entry into the store would require a membership and a gift card would not allow non members to shop in store.

I love costco. This one is so busy, it's a challenge.
You need to be in the right state of mind to go shopping and don't be in a hurry. Best times, as soon as they open and just before they close.
I understand the bags they put The rotisserie chicken in, now. I just don't like it.

You're going to get great stuff, and Costco has done all the negotiating to bring you the best. When you buy, for example, a computer at another store. There are extra fees at the end of the sale. Do you want a warranty? Do you want tech support? Etc. Etc. Costco just puts the best deal together up front and lets you take it or leave it. Also, who doesn't like a hotdog and a drink for $2? What's not to love?!

This is a great place to buy bulk essentials for the family. Love the affordability and variety of products & discounted group services, from eyeglasses, produce, frozen foods, clothes, pharmacy, food, and home essentials. Even switching phone services through Costco has saved us money.
