I had to search inside before I wrote this review, I thought people should know a side of this business that is very unfortunate. My mom who is 89 had been taking her dog to this business for many years but one situation with my mom caused them to send her a letter to never come back. My mom stated she needed to bring in her dog but there was no available vet which worried her and she said " what do you want me to do", in which they said she could go somewhere else. She received their dreaded letter which caused her to try and find a new vet which is almost a month out. Bandit was on special food and medication which no one would fill until he was seen ( again a month out) My poor mom went in Companion Care to BEG for his food and she said she wasn't leaving until they sold her some SO THEY CALLED THE POLICE ON MY 89 YEAR OLD MOTHER!!!! The police showed up and told my mom they would get some for her but they wouldn't even consider doing it for him. I miss the days when veterinary care was compassionate. Shame on you Companion Care.

We all know what a crazy time in the vet world it is right now. I'm spite of that Dr. T and her staff do their best to meet everyone's needs. They are kind and caring and are truly like family to us.

I have been taking my dogs and cat for years to Companion animal medical clinic.. Everyone that works there is extremely friendly and will work with you to get your pets on quickly. I highly recommend Companion.

Was going to start my 2 dogs on their vaccinations and called here to compare prices, this one was the closest to me and better prices but I was told they weren't taking new patients. I tried a different time bc my dog had a lump (which I thankfully treated at Care at the Courtyard) and was told again that they weren't taking new patients ?.

We always receive top notch care from Companion! Staff is friendly & knowledgable, facility is clean. Dr. Tarkington is helpful & amazing- she takes time to explain concerns thoroughly, and always goes above & beyond for her patients. Just be sure to book out appointments well in advance, because this is a busy office!

2 months ago I spoke to some receptionist at this clinic and she told me I must have called some other Companion Animal Clinic when I told her I left a voicemail and no one ever called me back.
I wanted to know if the vet does health certs, and was given a quote for a ground transport health certificate for a dog when the receptionist ask someone off the phone about my questions.
A couple weeks ago I left two voicemails a few days apart about getting a ground transport health certificate for a dog going to a Washington State rescue. No one ever called me back.
This morning, a young woman answered and did not identify herself. This time she told me this veterinarian does not do health certificate appointments, but could not explain why somebody told me a few weeks ago it would be $140 for that particular exam requirements and typically I could get an appt. within a week.
Today, she told me this veterinarian does not do health certificates and she could tell me which clinics do. I told her I know which other clinics do, but sometimes it's hard to get an appointment in the time frame needed. She told me Care usually has a few appointments available each week. It's interesting how they can't even answer their phones or return messages but she can tell me the availability of other veterinary clinics' appointments!
When I asked her why I did not get a call back from my messages I left a couple weeks ago, she said the vet was very busy.
I said I did not expect the veterinarian to call me back, could she please tell me why no one ever called me back. She hung up on me, then didn't pick up when I tried calling again.
I'm really hoping there's an office manager or the veterinarian reading these reviews so they get an idea of what some of their front office staff is doing being so rude; and damaging the clinic's income which pays the employees' salaries when clients like me refuse to use a clinic with such rude staff.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I bring in my 3 year old dog on a regular basis and not only do I love them my fur baby does as well. All of the staff is extremely polite, they care for all animals, and make sure your concerns are dealt with. I would never bring my babies anywhere else!

We have used Companion Animal Veterinary services since the 1990’s. The quality of care, medical excellence & knowledge and friendly staff keep us coming back. They’ve laughed with us & cried with us & are as much a member of our family as our furry babies. Our dogs even get excited when I sing “gonna go see the doctor, gonna see what she can do, gonna see the doctor cause Kelly loves you”.
