They suck since switching over from Bank of the West. If you are not happy with the new way they are, they will charge you $50 just to close your account.

DO NOT ORDER CHECKS TO BE DELIVERED THERE! They will blame the mailman, (their words), anyone but themselves and the checks don't always get there. Then they expect you to open a new account, thus freezing your regular account because, well, with new bank system there's nothing we can do. Can't cancel those checks! What happened to "stop payment"? All your automatic withdrawals, automatic deposits, all gone because oh, we can't be blamed. It's the post office!! Never offering to go to the post office (right behind them) and as a manager, check on deliveries since it is THEIR customers' accounts! Plus, all checks already sent will be bounced with a new account! Oh, oops, happened to another customer before you, but DIDN'T LET ME KNOW BEFORE SO I WOULDN'T HAVE HAD THEM DELIVERED THERE? Awful management skills. "Not our fault" seems to be the answer to all the problems. If I now have to change my account, which is inconvenient and will take some time to redirect many things that are automatic, I see no reason to continue at their facility. DO NOT GO THERE FOR THE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

awful experience many times but topped it off when ordering checks sent to their branch for safety ! They never came and it's the mailman's fault ? Can't help or cancel those checks but maybe can freeze ur account and open a new one? what! Plus suggested ordering new checks!!! All my automatic withdrawals and deposits to redo? plus ur card then will not work? plus had it happen before -?but didn't tell me when I ordered! oops it's our new mailman - they probably came but they can't deliver off hours - uh - then go get them or talk to postal manager !! Nope - And that was the manager !! No apologies - just nothing - horrible management skills

I love that they are open on Saturdays and I always get quick and friendly service when I go in to deposit my check. I haven't used the drive thru but that's definitely a plus.

Pretty close to taking out all my money from this institution not sure if these banks can afford of it since there’s a liquidity crisis and people are withdrawal their cash and putting it into assets or competitors due to interest rate hikes (check out current banks closing down) and this almost happened because the the Assistant branch manager worse customer service of all time. Blantantly lied to my face about a transaction that never actually happened and told me some thing entirely wrong , directed me to the hotline number to kick the problem to someone else, and didn’t allow to see the manager even though I asked. Coming from management experience if you let this person captain your ship they will run it to the ground. I had to call back the branch and speak to the manager to get the accurate information. Just sad how they won’t go out of their way to take care of customers who have been with them for a long time.

Visalia Bank of the West is Trash. I have 3 accounts with them. Member for over 25 years. Went in to open a business account to give them more of my money. I'm assuming is the manager, Hispanic older lady at desk, proceeds to ask me questions about my business while she sits 1/2 way across the room. Doesn't let me have a 1 on 1 with anyone. I give her minimum answers as professionals would let you sit and talk to someone. She annoyingly gets up and I hand her all my proper IRS/ DBA paperwork. Since she couldn't pronounce my business name, she nonchalantly says na that's a no to risky!! She has zero people skills and makes decisions based off her emotions and not what is right for long time members.

Worst bank ever!! I've been banking with them for 17 years!! And they have gotten worse and worse! They put a stop to my card due to fraudulent charges, I didn't get any notice that the bank was doing this. I found out when I was at a restaurant the next day and my card was declining so I called my the bank and they told me it was due to a suspicious charge on my card! No notice of any kind was made before I called them! I've now been waiting for my card for 3 weeks!! No card yet due to a plastic shortage!! What an excuse!! At this point I have to bank somewhere else!!

A teller shouted the n word at a man that came in until he left in shock and disgust, everybody waiting in line was just staring at the teller and her manager in disbelief until the manager started laughing and carrying on with her day.

My request is to ask for a w-2 to be mailed also to my address I am the X wife of Mr. Ventura Moreno. We both have a real state with this Bank. Attach is also a Court notice for me to receive a copy of the form IRS property tax. The house will be under Lourdes Moreno but there is proof of I am also the owner. My partner banks here and it's a nightmare. They randomly disable her card once every month or so, just so they can charge her an exorbitant fee to get a replacement on a new checking account every time.

If I could give a ZERO stars, I would !! The worse customer service I have ever experienced in a Bank of the West Branch!! I went in for a cashier's check. Literally took 30min, I understand the teller was in training but the trainer gave no communication as to the steps. Just standing around in awkward silence. Then the asst. manager Berenice reviewed the account to see where the funds were coming from, simply could have asked me where the wire came from. Ignored me as I tired to explain and walked away. How she is a manager with no people skills is beyond me!. I felt so discriminated!! Plus, they didn't give me an envelope for my cashier's check. HOW GHETTO!! And so UNPROFESSIONAL! Sure let me just walk out of the bank with a check of thousands in hand. I should've have gone to my home branch, but I was in the area and needed it asap. If you can avoid going, I would!

Horrible!!! worst customer service I have ever received in my life..withdrawing funds from my bank of the west account felt like more like an interrogation. She asked me where a deposit in my account came from(it was via square a lot of merchants use it) She asked me why was I was banking with bank of the west...and asked me why had I gone to the Hanford branch to withdraw funds then to the Visalia branch to withdraw..(it just so happened to be i was in Hanford and needed to some of my cash, not that it was her business)None of these questions needed to be asked, she is supposed to be providing a service not demeaning
