I have an 1982 Vanagon Westfalia with a diesel. I converted it from a 1.6 diesel to a 95 vw 1.9 turbo diesel.An MTDI. Thomas at Quality German Auto sold me the kit,and helped me every step of the way with information and parts. He is very knowledgeable and will bend over backward trying to solve your problems. Thomas is the absolute best. He is honest and super straightforward, and we can all appreciate that. He absolutely bent over backwards to help me get my 1993 EuroVan back on the road. I will never forget that. He is a direct importer from Germany, so when you need those original or hard to find parts, this is your place.

Tomas is great. Very knowledgeable and imports parts directly from Europe. If you can get him on the phone he will get you hooked up with what you need. I have only purchased a used engine long block from him, but he deals in all VW/Audi parts. I purchased a TDI engine from him, and though it wasn't in the best shape ever... what do you expect for a 20-year old engine? I was going to rebuild it anyway. Everything was in spec. Threw some new rings and bearings in, took the head to Southwest Engines in San Bernardino to get rebuilt. Painted the block, threw it in the car and it now runs like a dream. One of the only sources for european parts at good prices in SoCal... Recommend!

Ordered a Vw aaz 1.9 turbo diesel for my Suzuki samurai. I’m still in the install process but Thomas has gone above and beyond to help with any questions I have or parts I need and the shipping was really quick. Very happy with my experience 10/10.

Wonderful experience. Thomas went above and beyond helping me with my VW Eurovan transmission swap. Friendly, knowledgeable, and went the extra mile (kilometer?) to find the best possible shipping option to me, a Canadian. I wound up driving across the border to pick up from an American depot Thomas found for me, saving me a ton on shipping! Everything was in perfect order with all the correct paperwork to make my return home with transmission a breeze. Highly recommended, thanks a million Thomas!

Thomas knows his stuff! I told him that I wanted to complete a Diesel swap on my Samurai. Not only did he recommend a motor but called the conversion adaptor company and set up the motor exactly how I needed it to do the conversion. He could have sold me a more expensive motor but based on what I told him he recommend a motor that would fit my needs at a lower price vs a motor with all the bells and whistles at a higher price.I highly recommend buying a motor from him!Note: He can have additional work done to the motor before you get it. i.e. replacement of seals, timing belts etc.

Best place you can go in Southern California for used European car parts. the owner is super knowledgeable and very helpful and he backs up his business with his word if I ever need any used parts I will always go to him I wish more companies where ran like this place
