Service was horrible there was a crazy line and only one register open. They where instructing customers to use the check out app which is Bs a lot of people had cash and where being discriminated against because of it. So f you had an app or did self checkout you where good but if you had cash you had to wait for one cashier while 3 managers where onsite and could have easily jumped on a register to help. People where very upset and just leaving the stuff there and walking out.That just shows there lack of experience with customer service.

If I could give this location a 0, I would. There's a wannabe manager named Summer at the Victorville store that is beyond rude. As there was an extremely long line at checkout and she failed to acknowledge us or apologize for the wait. She just yelled out that self checkout was open for credit or debit. I was trying to do an exchange, and the cashier did a return and asked for my credit card. I didn't have it with me. My comment was, that is a stupid policy. Summer walks over repeats the same thing and doesn't offer a resolution. I said, wow no apology or other option. I had to ask for a store credit. Summer then has the audacity to call me rude and try to ban me from the store. (laughable) and would not finish my exchange. She tried to take my merchandise off the counter, beyond unprofessional. I statched the product from her and asked her to go away, stop talking to me, and get out of my face. I just went to the self check and purchased my items while she thought it was a good idea to continue arguing with me. It was absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable behavior for a "manager" Summer, customer service 101, the customer is always right. It's because we purchase merchandise that you have a job. But you would never be a manager in my store! I guess Michael's is ok with treating customers like crap and hiring or promoting unqualified people.

Pretty terrible customer service. I didn't realize they had self service registers and was waiting in line while 2 workers were up front chatting with each other. One finally said for us to use the self check out. When we checked ourselves out we realized that one of our items were the wrong one and we needed to exchange it with the right one. I had to interrupt the girls convo to get them to help me and I left pretty annoyed about it.

Horrible service at Michael's today we needed assistance at self checkout waited patiently but the cashier was a bit busy of course, there was an extra worker right around the corner in the aisle ahead of us my husband kindly asked her if she can help us scan a coupon but she wants to be extremely rude telling him "there should be someone up there" when she wasn't busy herself practically standing there doing inventory, I've been in retail for years, so I'm not new to this. It takes a couple seconds to help. I could hear her loud & clear with how rude she was to him? practically yelling, when I was just about to confront her, the kind cashier (I didn't catch her name but had long black curly hair was quiet young & very sweet) came over to help us & simply yet kindly explained what we needed to do to scan our code. This was our first time shopping at Michael's and we won't be coming back to this location. However for the rude women she was older, black hair in a ponytail her shift for today 7/30/23 around 1:56pm, she really needs to learn to speak to someone who is not approaching her rudely in any way or form. Why have a sign at checkout that says "ask a team member" that encourages people to ask for help yet to be told that someone else can do it ? Just from this experience ONE person in the entire store was willing to help and I can really appreciate her. However for that rude women that did nothing, fix your services.

I was in Michaels in Victorville yesterday. At checkout i was watched like a hawk then told by the person who was watching me at the self checkout that i didn't scan all my things so i took that to mean shes accusing me of stealing. She went through my bag and compared my receipt with the contents of the bag. It was embarrassing and it left me feeling a way. I don't have to steal anything i make more money than she does she knows nothing about me. I will NEVER EVER go back in there again

Leave it to me to save things for the last minute, but came here 30 minutes before closing. Needed a "billion" stickers and I had been to way too many stores with no luck. Somehow found what I needed, but had to dig through the discount bins to match. Sweating bullets as the clock was ticking. I felt so bad to be at the register 4-5 minutes before closing. And if I had gotten attitude- I knew I deserved it. But Misty, sweet Misty, was not only engaging with me but she searched for a discount on my purchases. Nice people Rock! And I hope she knows how much I appreciated her help!

So pathetic, I've never used their self check out until today. I was much faster than an actual employee checking out a customer with only a few items. You gotta do better.

I just went to this location and was helped by a very nice lady. I dont have her name but she wears a lot of rings and has been there for 18 years, I believe she mentioned. I must say she is the nicest customer service rep. Hope her managers appreciate that from her since I've dealt with michaels managers and they are very unprofessional and rude. This lady is awesome.

I recently went in shortly before closing to look for a planner. An employee named Bryce was super helpful and found me what I needed. I appreciate him going out of his way to locate the items and the items were super discounted which was a big plus!
