Horrible experience. Staff does not care at all. Nobody answers any calls or calls back like they say they will. Avoid this place at all costsFollow up: as you can see, they robotically send out this fake message like they want to help. The link does not work they tell you to directly message. Let's get a better way to contact hertz. Ball is in your court again.

I want to share this because until this experience, I didn’t understand how hard it is for these guys. First, if I based my review on my initial phone call and interaction I would not give it 5 stars. They were kind of dismissive but polite HOWEVER when I spoke with them in person, I was able to get help. We had a ridiculous situation with an EV that wouldn’t charge. Pretty much, nobody answered the phone or if you did get through they couldn’t help you. This applies to all of the surrounding locations. The employees at these will just do their job albeit with a little sympathy when you have a problem but can’t really offer any solutions because their hands were tied. The help came from when we just had a conversation with the employees here. Road side assistance tried to tell us to go to LAX or Palm Springs, which wouldhave cost a fortune in towing. He said we should try Ontario which was closer and we could basically coast down the freeway which was all down hill. Thankfully he knew the area and knew the vehicle. We made it. NEVER EVER rent an EV for a long trip, it’s a nightmare.

Not happy with my experience with this location.First off, I was charged to have my spouse drive the vehicle. As a Gold member, spouses are able to drive free of charge. So, if you are having your spouse drive, be sure you provide proof of marriage to avoid being charged, especially if you still use your maiden name.Second, the vehicle was in dire need of an oil change, but the alert came up after the location was closed. Due to this, we arrived at our destination with 0% oil life (the oil was black when checked) and had to take an entire day out of our trip to take the vehicle to have an oil change performed - courtesy of roadside assistance voucher. While the approved location changed the oil, they noted the tire tread was uneven and notated as in need of replacement.When returning the rental, the representative stated the oil change was not needed and the tires were fine when the rental was provided to us (based on pictures).

Unfortunately there is no 0 stars, bad customer service, they are rude, (Brian) Gave us a car with no brakes, and zero gas, we switched for a different car at a different location and they ask us to fill the tank AGAIN to the new one. The assistant manager Joel (I think)was no help, I was talking to him over the phone until I asked him to come out from his office, I cannot believe it!

Alamo was quick and efficient in processing our reservation. We also loved the new Murano SUV we got instead of the Edge.

Worst rental experience in history. The classic BAIT and SWITCH. Book online withAAA for a compact car, when going to pick up the car. All they offered me was an electric car. To upgrade from an electric car to a gas car cost an additional $20 per day.Not only were they rude and unprofessional? It took them over 2 hours to get the car washed and clean.Run not walk away from this business period they deserve 0 stars.

It says close at 12pm i got here at 11:56 and the guy had the door locked was me and another customer, and i waited there till he left @ 12:08 pm. And i told him that i was needed a car my vehicle was on service that i don't have transportation and he said its closed already and it wasn't his problem.What type of service it this.It happened 09/30/2023. Community of Victorville before to rent a car on this location check their reviews this is not the first time it happened, are more bad reviews for differents type of things not just this.

This Hertz location has an amazing car select and they will check near by offices for other specific cars you want to rent. But most importantly there staff is exceptional and people like Ms. KYIESHA went the extra mile to make sure my rental experience was exceptional. She noticed the tread lifting on the side wall of the Tesla tire. There were no more Teslas available. So she put me in an exception up grade. I appreciate her time, attention to detail, and the five star customer experience!

This hertz location has the nicest people working there. I have used it twice in the last month. I have tried other hertz locations and I cannot even get a human to answer the phone. Every time I call this location I get an actual person to pick up the phone. lol, I know this seems like it should be the norm, but it is definitely not. So very much appreciated. Thank you to Adam and the rest of the staff!

If I could give a zero I would, just for the rudeness and ineffective post rental customer service at this location. Kaisha, supposed Branch Manager at this Buick location and I mighthave the spelling wrong, was stand-offish and would not hear my case about her employee's refusal to help me when I arrived prior to closing time. The dealer employee that assisted me after I was shunned by the Hertz employee rushing out the door stated that the Hertz guy was still there. I advised him that the employee told me he was off the clock and I needed to leave the keys at the dealer front desk. The dealer employee stated that they are always doing that BS and he apologized to me for the inconvenience. Today I get the final receipt from Hertz that included the charges for the 2 weekend days the car had been parked in their dealer lot. When I called to ask them to rectify the issue, they passed me off to different reps until Kaisha came on and advised that she checked her employee's timecard and he did not clock out early that day. I told her I was there before noon and he refused to help me. She advised they couldn't refund me due to the car not getting checked in until today Monday. Very unfortunate, now I'll for sure make the trek to Enterprise, even out to Apple Valley (30mins away) and I will do it gladly! Stay away from this location, also, trying get a hold of anyone is damn near impossible using their automated phone system. FYI, U-Haul has auto-returns on their app, might be time to catch up to their type of advancements.
