Harbor Freight in Victorville has been nothing but a pleasant experience! The staff and leadership are as outstanding as their service and brand name! Trust me, in an area where services are limited, giving businesses the impression that they can treat customers as they please, good or bad, knowing that they have few options to choose from, Harbor Freight Tools, Victorville, is a welcomed experience. This store should not only be the model for Harbor Freight Tools, but the business model on how to treat customers for the entire High Desert!

Good place to get some inexpensive tools to get a job done. I had to replace tires on cars going out to auction and needed SAE impact sockets and a breaker bar. I was in and out of the place quickly.

Been going to another Harbor Freight (HF) for years for a few non-electrical supplies. Been searching for a welding cart online for the past week, could not find one to fit my Argon gas tank. That according to online chats, so I decided to see what HF had in-store. This after going to my nearby HF. Closest HF to me didn't have, so I was told their Victorville store had two. I asked if they could call, I was assured they had two in stock.Got there, saw an employee to give him ticket to get the cart, twice he walked away. He being the supervisor, that's how close I got to him, close enough to see his name tag. Thankfully I met Richard, another employee who just happened to be their resident welding expert. He knew more than the person I chatted with from Northern Tool. He was so darn helpful I feel like I scored getting his help today. He literally went above and beyond, like customer service from long ago.Victorville store is farther for me, but I went and they had one left. Richard said, next time have them call, again, I agreed, since my local store wasn't so helpful. He was right because they only had the one I bought. I may very well go to this store for certain things when Richard is there, that's how helpful, kind and knowledgeable he is. Any welders out there who need help buying welding supplies, he's your man. These five stars are for both he and the sweet cashier, Maria. Both provided exceptional customer service. If I were reviewing supervisor, perhaps I'd give one or no stars. Not sure how he was promoted to that position, but he sure avoided me like the plague. Because I am woman? Don't know, but he was far from helpful or even caring to help. Thanks Richard, you rocked! I so appreciated your help today. And not once, TWICE I stopped him and he helped answer every question I had. Now that's customer service!

This place is usually packed with customers in walk in and drive through. Yet I'm always able to grab a bite and make it back before my 30 minute break is over

I wouldn't expect too much from harbor freight. I go there to buy clamps and maybe sand paper. I wouldn't buy power tools or anything like that.

Too bad service attitude. I have never seen a manager who can train such employees. I am ashamed of this company. Extremely bad. If you don't want to do a good job. Don't come out at home to scare people and make a face. Make others unhappy about buying things. Never go to this shop to affect your mood.

Justin! You had me on hold for 12 minutes waiting to get a stock check. After 12 minutes, I gave up and disconnected. I called back a few minutes later and you placed me on hold AGAIN stating you were busy with customers, which I understand. After another 10 minutes I decided to drive down there only to find you walking around the floor. Oh, I'm still on hold. After getting the stock information, I drove back home AND I'm still on hold. At this time the clock is at 40 minutes. You really need to find a new job.

In the last two years, there is always a long line. Why? 95% there's only one cashier. Employees walk by, check out the line going to the back of the store and pass on by. *Arlene as a cashier deserves five stars. Cool, calm and friendly while said line is glaring at her. Each customer is giving eye contact and given great customer service.

Extremely happy with this place. Needed a tool box and was getting the run around by Lowe's and Home Depot so I called them. Spoke with Richard who was extremely helpful and would give a 10/10 for customer service. Girl at register was friendly as well. Parking lot and local area is garbage, but with the way Richard helped me out I will be buying exclusive from Hf from now on.

Let me start by saying "We're in the hood!". So lock your cars and get a dash cam that stays on while you shop. That might get stolen also though! Lol. As for the store? It's clean and packed with many different types of tools. Many are at very low prices. By looking at the tools some appear to be at good quality professional tools while the majority appears to be for those that need tools to work around the house from time to time and won't be using them too much. They tools range from mechanic to cement, drywall to yard work, welding to painting and just about anything you may need for doing things around the house. The parking lot is a mess. Always dirty but if you're lucky you might show up when there is free entertainment! Like last week I was watching the security lady from the .99 only store chase after two cholos run across the parking lot with bags of .99¢ items or the lady that dances outside to play offline a dogshe's looking in your car to look for ?)0-@?8! Thank. L Oo. No LAwes
