I was given an estimate of charges for my dog to get treatment during the visit by Paul. Yet when I called to have the estimate be emailed to me I never received one. A little disappointed.

Prices are lower but so is quality of service. My dog has had allergic reaction so I paid for the visit, steroid shot, ointment and antibiotics ~$205. Still he had a reaction so I paid almost $400 for the allergy test got it done on 9/14/24 and they received the results 9/23/24 and didn’t call or email nothing like they said they would. I call 10/5/24 to see about the results they say they will email them but I didn’t receive it so I call again and they say “I’ll send it when I get to it, I’m not going to stop helping a client just to help you.” Guess what I’m a client too and my dog. Very inefficient and unpleasant. The doctor was so nice I felt like he cared but administration and management isn’t great.

Elderly Dog ate a peice of fabric and we wanted to make sure there was no blockage. The friendly nurse type ladies tell us that we'll most likely need an xray and gave us an almost exact price before even being seen by the main vet. Once the main vet came he had little to no words and barely exaimed the animal. The vet then sent the lady back with a qoute asking for an xray, meds(before we even got anything done) and blood work (another 300). Xray came back clean but vet still asked us to get bloodwork done, I asked what would it be for? He said he didn't know until it was done. I told him I'd be going to my normal vet for that(this was an emergency visit) and he then told me he wouldn't tell me any more information because he was upset I was "taking it to his competition" (we live 2 hours away). The ladies were nice , some older vet like person named Paul forced out vet to give us a CD with our xrays on it which he originally refused , ladies good , Paul's good, the older white hair vet is a horrible person

Dr Paul is awesome, we had a wonderful experience when we had an emergent situation with one of our furbabies!! And we even got a personal call the next day from Dr. Paul to check on our dachshund!!! Thanks so much for the care of our pregnant dachshund!!

I brought my dog to get checked on an anal gland that got infected and when the doctor came in he grabbed the dogs butt with no gloves, then grabbed his pen and clipboard and the door handle, this really concerns me because this means he grabs animals infected bodyparts then could potentially bring a disease to another poor dog or cat or himself. Gloves are a must. I had to bathe my dog and myself after. This is disgusting. I decided not to get my dog treated there. I paid 45.00 consultation for them to tell me it will be 1,000 plus dollars to drain his gland.

I never post reviews but I think this is one I need to do… I do think that the vet took great care of my doggie but I think the front desk needs some work.. they would disappear for 30 minutes or more and then when it came to pay or even just for them to bring your pet back, it took a half hour or longer. They seemed to ignore you when you were standing at the front desk to check in as well. Besides that I think the vet I saw was amazing…. Just needs some tweaking on the front desk adequate.

Paul is the best, really cares about our fur babies. Briana is the reception always friendly, Veronica is always willing to help and answer your questions, and Angelica is amazing. I took RAMBO last year. She is very polite and treats the fu babies with love. Thank you to the staff. Paul,brianna,veronica,Angelica and the rest of the staff of ark animal hospital.

DO NOT use Ark for cremation services through Gateway. Go to AMC up the road, or drive 30 minutes down the hill directly to Gateway who charges $120, and save yourself and family money. AMC charged me $138 all in, including cedar box with pets name engraved, and paw print. Ark charges $350+ in order to profit off of peoples loss and pain. Sad when they are suppose to be caring and compassionate when it comes to pets. Only gave 2 stars as the front desk person was VERY kind and sympathetic as the tears flowed down my face at the painful loss of my fur baby.

I have been coming here for over 10 years. The staff is always very attentive and courteous. They are very professional and their prices are reasonable. I would not go anywhere else ??

We've been going there off and on depending on our dogs they are very caring and loving Paul is one of the best there, may take a little time so take your patience if you want a loving and caring veterinarian

Friday morning our furbabies got bit by a rattlesnake. It’s truly a miracle that they are still here with us. Thank God for Ark Animal Hospital?❤️ they are truly angels on earth saving lives! ? Their doors say they close at 6:30pm but they don’t walk away from an emergency until they’ve done everything possible to help your pets. The doctor was with my furbabies til after 11pm updating me that momma kitty was comatose and he was very worried for her and doing everything he could to bring her back. She was paralyzed for three days, only able to barely move her head. She could barely breathe on day 1. I was in so much shock to pick her up on Monday and see her walking again. We are forever grateful for this vet’s exceptional care and compassion for our animals ???
If it wasn’t for these wonderful furbabies protecting our territory and taking a bullet for us this could have been one of my kids or parents. The snake was right outside our garden? these cats are heroes and so is the vet that saved their lives ?❤️
Please be cautious in this desert with your pets and family? most rattlesnakes incidents don’t have a positive outcome
