“My car broke down right when I got to work - it would not start / or rough start - An error code P0335 (Crankshaft Position Sensor) was displayed on my OBD-II reader.I did my usual Amazon and YouTube search think I wanted to fix it myself. The more I read of possible repairs the more I started to look for a near auto repair place. I found a few nearby and also consulted my coworker if he knew of a place nearby that he could recommend.Right away my co-worker T** suggested this place named C's Auto Repair. I have never heard of this place, but I trusted my buddy and stopped my searching online. I spoke to Saloum and explained my situation and that I would like to have my car towed to his location in Lawndale. He said no problem.After the car was dropped off - they inspected and called me to explain and invited me over to show me their finding. I told them I would come over to see their finding and explained to him at least in my opinion when someone recommends you, they are doing this for a good honest reason and trust is part of it, but I still went to see for myself since he recommended, and I was nearby.I truly felt that they were really transparent about the findings and the estimate price he told me. It was also brought to my attention of things I have possibly overlooked like fluid levels, worn belt, low oil, oil leaks, and warning lights. But from now on I will pay more attention to these.The problem turned out to be not as serious as it could have been if I have kept trying to start and driving my car and not have it towed to C's Auto Repair.My car was done the next day and even feels a bit faster, lol. The cost turned to be as it was estimated. I'm glad I listen to my co-worker recommendation I can say for now I will defiantly bookmark "C's Auto Repair" in Lawndale, CA on my phone for future auto maintenance.Thank You,Satisfied customerFV”

“Kevin, the owner is not only extremely knowledgable, but he’s personable and reasonable as well. I’m the type that wants to know more about my car as things are getting fixed. I have an older Honda element. I brought it in to fix the vtec solenoid and when I came in to pick up the car, he had the old part there to show me before I even asked about it. There may be some mechanics that still do this these days, but frankly, that’s a great way for a curious person to instantly trust a person. Kevin is kind of a saint. Not everyone needs what I want, but I think that if you need a frank opinion on how to proceed with your car problem, he’s going to be one of your most valuable assets. “I found Wise Tires based on the excellent Yelp reviews and the fact that it's very close to my house. One of my tires has been leaking air very slowly. I took it to the dealership where I bought the car and they said they looked at it and couldn't find anything wrong with it. So I thought the problem was more complicated and put off finding a new place / solution for a while. Finally I was tired of adding air to my tire every week so I took my car to Wise Tires. Lindsay (I think) greeted me as soon as I pulled up and told me they will take care of it. Since I live very close I went home to wait for her call. She called me 40 minutes later and told me they found the problem, patched it up and I can head on over. Once I got there my car was all ready to go and they charged me a VERY reasonable price. Especially compared to the dealership who charged me multiple times that price and didn't even fix my problem. I was on my way within an hour of dropping the car off. I couldn't believe how easy that was. I hope I won't have tire problems in the near future but I'll definitely come back to Wise Tires if I need help, and I would highly recommend them to my friends and family as well.”

“I was recommended to Sport transmissions by a family friend and couldn't have been more relieved to have taken my G37 there for what came down to a transmission rebuild.Don and the guys here at sport transmissions were great, gave me a detailed diagnosis of what caused the transmission failure and the options towards repairing it, also was frequently updated on the status of the repair, they even fixed my steering pinion after noticing it wasnt tightened and secured enough, and on top of all that they pressure washed the whip too! It had been sitting for a year so was all extra dusty lol but they had her nice and clean and shifting smooth again, i waited few weeks and hundred miles to properly do a review on their repair too and I can say without a doubt these guys do quality work, definitely recommend going here for anything transmission related, had to hit them up on Facebook initially cause their Line was busy so if you don't have any luck calling the number listed here.”

“Amazing shop! La Auto is a great place, I brought my car in to do a quick oil change and they did it lightning fast with no problems. Also had them fix some glitches and bugs I had encountered in the electronics system. The guys really knew what they were doing and got that done too. I have a late model BMW and knowing how to work with it isn't always something any mechanic can do. I had a glitch with the infotainment system which needed special tools and knowledge which they had. Also their shop looks so neat and professional. I could see glimmers of shining new chrome tools tucked away in the drawers! These boys were amazing! 10/10 would absolutely recommend!”
