I've bought a couple magic model boards from Steve and Jarrod. I'm hard on my boards and these guys always step up with high quality repair work. They ride like butter and turn way better than other long boards.
Walden Surfboards was established in 1965 by Steve Walden known as the father of the modern longboard. Steve Walden shaped his first surfboard in 1961, at age 13, and never looked back. Eight years later, the native Southern Californian opened his first board factory and store in Huntington Beach, then moved to the North Shore of Oahu in 1972, where he made a name for himself as a prolific longboard shaper. Steve is best known for board innovation, most notably his famous Magic Model, developed in the early 80's it is a high-performance longboard designed to ride with the maneuverability of a shortboard. Walden's surfboards are sold around the world, the flagship store is in Ventura, CA.
