We had the absolute BEST experience with Dee and his crew! We had to have a very heavy vanity moved upstairs for our home remodel and these guys were incredible!! They were early, ready to work and did such a great job working as a team. They were super super careful and took extra care by wrapping the vanity before bringing it to its place. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them!!

The movers broke the glass from the top of a coffee table. Covered it up by shoving it into a wardrobe box or maybe that was what broke it? Who puts a large piece of glass into a wardrobe box filled with clothes? I called multiple times, leaving messages for someone to call me back but no one ever did. I don't think I would go with a small moving company again.

Talk about padding the hours.i moved from a two bedroom one bath house.the night before the owner calls me and talks me into a third person for the move,bringing my hourly rate to $215.00 an hour.i moved 6.2 miles away it took them 11.5 hours to move me!with a total of over $2400.00! The next day I had to rent a uhaul truck to finish the move myself! The last time I moved from a 2+1 it took them 4 hours.i called the owner to let him know of my dissatisfaction,he made it quite clear he didn't care! So if you have endless money and don't care about being taken for a ride then being treated like crap this is the place for you!

I wrote a review almost immediately after they left yesterday (2/23/2019) and can't find it. So here I go again. They are the BEST MOVERS I have ever encountered. The 2 young men, Derek & Richie arrived promptly at 9am and were incredible. They are proficient in dismantling and putting back together any piece of furniture. They are professional and courteous and just downright a joy to be around. Anyone using any other moving company other than Skinny Wimp Movers are nuts. They are the best!!!!

Skinny wimp seems easy enough to use but they seemed rather careless in some of their moving. So much so that they broke a large portion of counter top tile in the house we moved into. We have filed a claim it's been about a month since and we have not heard back from them yet we call every other day. If this continues we will be taking legal actions against them. Not a good company. Will never use again

Worse move ever! Don't believe the five star reviews, they give discounts to customers that give them good reviews. They shattered a TV and then put it into a room without telling anybody. No boxes were labeled, had no idea where to find things. rooms. They were told to just take the furniture and boxes already packed. Then they took all the loose items that weren't packed yet and just threw them into boxes.The boxes we had labeled were put into wrong rooms. We are having to pull all the boxes out of the garage and go through each one to try and find things. Almost drove off without putting to king size mattress on the bed, which is difficult for us to do because of age. Refrigerator door's would not close and we caught them just before they left and had them fix it. DO NOT USE SKINNY WIMP!!

Best move ever! Our movers Dee, Myron and Alex moved us from Santa Barbara to Ventura and made it smooth and hassle free. Cant recommend highly enough. Great job, good prices!

Easiest move ever! I am so grateful I hired these guys. We use them a lot with clients for moves from their homes and have not been able to experience it directly until now.called us before they arrived, gave an update on time due to traffic. Packed and helped with all of the open items, helped at my storage then trekked everything to a second story home... perfectly! What a day! Carlos, Cole and Justin were super awesome, professional, courteous, fun and super careful!! Thank you guys for making this so simple and fun!! Cheers

Skinny Wimp Movers did an awesome job!! They were able to schedule my move only a day and half before I needed it and it was for a Sunday. My movers, Jeremy M. and Chris C., were awesome! They wrapped and padded everything and were very efficient and friendly. They always checked with me for what room to unload to and made sure they had everything packed up before leaving. They did an amazing job moving my heavy and difficult to move couches too! I would totally hire Skinny Wimp Movers for my next move.

We finished our move and I wanted to provide some feedback. 1) Overall the guys did an ok job. I paid 140 in tips. Probably too high for the following reasons.... a) They left one of my big computer monitors at the old apartment. Our apt management (where we left) saw it behind the door, wrapped in a blanket and also shrink wrapped. b) We are missing a power cable for another monitor. I have no idea where it is. They did not tape it to a monitor or anything. c) They did not have the proper tools (common tools like a torque wrench) to unscrew the table legs from our table...and so the screws, although functional, are messed up! d) They were late 45 minutes. That was a very big disappointment. I specifically requested an 8am start. Not too sure I will be using the service again.

Being new to the Ventura area, Skinny Wimp Moving was fantastic! Their appt. staff were able to coordinate a local move for the NEXT DAY (in between Xmas and New Years) smoothly and graciously. The movers- Matthew Serna & Matthew Schwartz- were absolutely awesome and their coordinator was able to enlist two more movers- Austin and Deangelo- to move the equivalent of a 2 bedroom apartment up three flights of stairs to my new apartment! They helped assemble my furniture and continuously offered to help with additional tasks, even providing advice on services in the area and good beaches to visit! They were friendly, courteous, energetic and tireless in making sure all my needs were met and I was satisfied. I will totally recommend and sing the praises of Skinny Wimp Moving Co. to everyone I know- thanks guys for making my move fun!

Here guys (Dee, Myron, Jeremy, Tim and Adrian) were AMAZING! They wrapped and padded all items that needed it. They were all so sweet and accommodating. They are friendly and very very professional. Moved my entire 5000 sq foot home and did fantastic. I would use them again in a heart beat.

We were moving to Orang County and had lot of stuffs to take. We had only one day to move out and everyone else was telling us we had to do the same move in 2 days ! These guys, Dee,cameron,jeremy,michael, myroni , did a fantastic job to not only finish the whole moving in one day on a busy Saturday but also made everything fit perfectly in one storage unit instead of 2! They are polite, hard-worker and efficient. We will definitely recommend them to everyone and also will ask them to come back to OC to help us with another move!
