This is my go to for my prescription's. The staff is so helpful. I've never had to wait long and their prices are the best. Family owned and very flexible hours.

Ventura county pharmacy If unprofessional could be summed up perfectly and placed into the dictionary, I would absolutely nominate this pharmacy. I was provided two completely new rX to pick up in December, one of which wasn't needed to take until the following month (January 2024). Upon retrieval of said rX, I realized that it was never provided to me in my pharmacy bag. I called the pharmacy to explain and was initially met with more than confusion and lack of problem solving. I was advised that they'd only be able to fulfill 12 out of 30 of the full prescription capsules, to which was fine, I appreciated them fulfilling such a last minute request so quickly and seemingly easily. I was advised by the owner, Amani, i would need to actually repurchase the entire prescription for $150 for 30 capsules even though I only needed the remaining 18 fulfilled as originally prescribed. I was asked, "why did you leave without the prescription?" to which my only reply is, how would I leave without it if it was never provided to me? I was told many times they'd need to follow up with the employee etc. so much to the point of them mentioning retraining their staff because of this issue. And then to state they would need to charge me for the prescription in full for a second time because they did not fulfill it correctly the first time. I certainly understand my responsibility in not going over my prescriptions properly but in no way did I try to to be deceitful about this issue and the fact that I've still yet to receive it in full is so disappointing. The pharmacy seems fully staffed and yet do not have effective or clear communication. They have still not fulfilled my prescription or even communicated how I would be able to reconcile the 18 capsule difference. If you're able to, go elsewhere. There are far more capable pharmacies.

This place will take 2-3 days to get your medication even if you need it asap for your health conditions. One girl told me it would be ready same day the other girl told me it would be ready the next day and then another girl told me it would be ready in two days so it was just so confusing with the miscommunication. And certain insurance doesn’t cover as much at this pharmacy whereas cvs or Walgreens if in network and will cover more. Even when I would come here to get medication it took 1 hour just for them to get it ready when it was supposed to already be ready

Called today to see if they were able to fill my prescription and the pharmacist was extremely rude. I think it is sad that people who have no customer service skills are the ones dealing with customers. Being a pharmacist and not caring about mental health is disheartening.

I could not be more grateful for Amani and the other staff at Ventura County Pharmacy! They eagerly helped me fill prescriptions that no other local pharmacies were able to do. They have been communicative, prompt, and have consistently gone above and beyond to help me out during a very stressful time. I will be recommending them to everyone I know!

Growing up, I would trail after my mom in our local pharmacy where she was always greeted by name with a smile, a caring ear, and a cherry lollipop for me. By the way, this happened in LA, not Mayberry. I miss that culture as the big box, major chain drugstores are seem to have an indifferent big box face every time I fill my scripts. Not long ago, my doctor prescribed a new medication that simply wasn't available at CVS - any of them. A fast Yelp revealed how much people are devoted to Ventura County Pharmacy. They not only had the medication I needed, but filled it lightning fast - another thing major chains are loathe to do. Every member of their team is kind, compassionate and happy to answer any questions. My husband and I even took a free hearing test, revealing that we can hear just fine - despite our children's insistence to the contrary. I highly recommend Ventura County Pharmacy. They're the cherry lollipop of pharmacies.

What a great pharmacy! I was very impressed at how quick my prescription was filled. The owner, Amani took the time to answer all my questions. I will definitely be coming back. 5 stars!!!

My mother is 94 and on oxygen. Getting COVID would very likely be fatal for her. Therefore, my brother and I have been limiting our exposure as much as possible. The pharmacist at Ventura County Pharmacy has been really wonderful about coming out to the car to give us our vaccines. I cannot thank enough for doing this.

If you want your private health information left out for everyone to see this is the place to go. I visited this place and a family member called me 6hrs later if i was doing ok because they had seen my name along with a diagnosis. Truly a horrible experience.

The Pharmacist (Thomas) was probably the nicest and sweetest pharmacist I’ve ever met! So friendly! Would come back for sure!!!
