A local treasure. Knowledgeable timely inexpensive repairs. Honest. I went to another popular bike shop in town first. Boy did I regret it. They charged me beaucoup, yet were 4 days late on the repair, without calling me to let me know.

I go here regularly for bike repairs. Their prices are reasonable, their service is great, and their employees are friendly. A little pricey for purchases, but their repair work is cheap and professional.

I can't recommend this bike shop enough. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Alex and Maks really know their stuff. I brought in my high end mountain bike and cheap urban bike. Both times they were not only super helpful, but provided cost effective solutions that I would not have known about. They took the time to source parts and explain the options. They did excellent work on my bike and now it's running tip top. They provide a great service and at an amazing value. Keep it up boys!

Real nice crew. Had some minor adjustments and needed a second opinion on some work and these folks were super helpful. Pretty obvious that they care more about bikes and bike culture than squeezing money outta ya. Ideal bike shop.

Used to be my go to bike shop. The guys that work there had an upbeat, nice demeanor and were always on top of taking care of my eBike. The last two times were completely different though. One of the employees treated me like I knew nothing about bikes and was trying to upsell me on things I didn't want for a simple tuneup. The next time, my bike was held for 7 days and I finally had to call to find out what the hold up was. They told me regular bikes came before eBikes and it was going to be another 7 to 9 days. I informed them I would be picking up my bike by the end of day and my bike was miraculously ready. I guess when money is on the line. Needless to say, I hope their business practices change soon but I won't be returning in the near future

Rented 2 ebikes from them for half a day and everything went great. Sergio was very accommodating and informative. Consitdering their Ojai wine tasting bike ride. Will definitely use them again.

We rented for fun! I rented a beach cruiser & he rented an e-bike. Both choices were worthy of riding along the beach & dunes. For me, I typically MTB so this is an easy flat ride. He just wanted to try an e-bike ride & enjoy it. Choose your best ride & always wear a helmet. . . HAPPY TRAILS!

After going to other bike repair shops in the area; Ventura Bike Depot is now my preferred spot for all things bike. They have a friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have helped me with a custom bike build and a couple of repairs on other bikes I own. Their pricing is fair and their workmanship second to none. Ventura Bike Depot also has a wide selection of new bicycles and accessories, conveniently located near the bike path.

Had a great wine bike ride up to Ojai and back with our friends here from Wi. Shelly toured us and guided us through the day and stopped at various spots to let us enjoy some wine. Shelly suggested the electric bikes and we don't think it would have been so enjoyable had we opted for traditional bikes..good call on Shelly's part. Shelly and the Bike Depot were perfect for what we wanted.
