Mariotts are always a pleasure to stay at, and this one was special given its great location close to the beach. The rooms were premium, and had extremely well done interior decor. (For example, the curtains are so amazing that if you decide to take a mid-day nap, be well ensured that not an ounce of sunshine will trickle into your room)The service was exceptional too - specially the order-in to your room service was very convenient!Special shoutout to Colin V, whose service at breakfast was exceptionally warm!Also, the following are not complaints but suggestions:1) shower pressure can be improved2) the couches at the restaurant are a little too low for the table (the silverish chairs are perfect, just for reference)

The location of this hotel is perfect, walking distance to the beach and right off the highway. Rooms were clean and quiet.Rooms: Clean and spaciousNearby activities: It is near the beach and a park, close to the highwayWalkability: Walking distance of the beach and fast food restaurants nearby.

Rooms are clean and Hotel is located close to the beach. Pretty expensive particularly when there are special events like seminars orconventions - prices rise to $799 per night, that's ridiculous. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars, also because it's restaurant menu is very limited just few

Great place for conferences as everything is centrally located. The hotel's location is perfect to visit the beach (just a short walk away) or to branch out to explore Ventura. The staff is always helpful and will quickly resolve any issues you face.Rooms: Rooms are comfortable and clean. Many rooms have views to the mountains and/or the nearby beach.Nearby activities: The beach is a short walk away and there are several hiking locations a short drive/ride away.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. Not only did they charge a ridiculous fee for parking, but the worst part was that the fee was hidden on their app. It felt like a sneaky way to make extra money, and it left a sour taste in my mouth. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone who values transparency and fair pricing.

Matt at the front desk made our vacation stay enjoyable with his great customer service. My family had a great time, location is great to venture around the surrounding cities. Rooms could use some updating and maybe just a bit cleaner. The buffet is definitely NOT worth it...you've been warned, for the price it does not justify the food options.Walkability: Awesome locations and walking distance to the pier.Food & drinks: Decent food at the restaurant but the buffet is not worth the price.

Very nice, modern, and clean hotel. Pretty much what you would expect for a Marriott resort. I would return here for it's proximity to a lot. Best part, it's across the street from an In and Out

I've stayed here a handful of times which have never really had an issue even though it's a bit overpriced. This time it was just me and my husband the bed was uncomfortable the pillows were flat I had the worst sleep. I hope they start focusing on maintaining the rooms just like they do the lobby. Another issue I had was breakfast and wifi is an additional charge which shouldn't be if you're paying for an overpriced room to begin with. The dinner downstairs is mediocre and not much to choose from. This last stay has totally changed my mind about the place needless to say I'll be booking somewhere else for now on.

The Annual Dinner meeting for 200 guests was very well arranged except for the sound system l. We couldn't understand the speakers. The food was good for hotel food and the service unobtrusive. I would definitely recommend that we return here next year.

Not a fan. I would opt for a cozy airbnb before staying here again. Staff is rude, and Erica is the worst. She acts like she did you a favor for booking , and you are the guest! Most rooms smell like dog pee, and smoking too. Hit or miss in the rooms. Staff does not give clear instructions on parking permits, entry and exits, or general info on the stay. Overall, I would say a hard no on staying here at Marriott again.Rooms: Only thing I like about the rooms is the shampoo and conditoner set up on the wall in the shower. Other than that, didn't sleep too good. Remove your carpet...smells!

Kind of disappointed with the service level! Clearly not the standard i expect from a Marriott chain. No complimentary water and no bell service. Short of staff and long waiting in check out. Could have been much better as the property nice. Might think twice before I book next time.
