Stevie Wonder must have picked up surfboard making cause he seems to work for Varial. Ordered a foil board that took close to a year to get. It finally arrived with resin all inside the fin box. Another board was built. Annnnnnd they fucked that one up too. The glass was raised a bit higher than the fin box and already looked delaminated. After a few months, the fin box and glass were separated and it started taking on water. Maybe their foam is so special and won't take on water because their glassers are incompetent clowns. Never heard anything back on the first board. And never heard anything about the second. The shaper of my board handled everything and none of it had anything to do with him. Shit quality with worse customer service.

I just got my board a few weeks ago. It is what I expected it will be. Glass job was excellent and the way they packed and ship my board was top notch. Thank You Varial for a excellent job.

I put in a custom order with these guys in a twinsman, was reasonably priced for the varial technology and the custom color way I requested. But wanted to shout out their board tech guy paul. I changed the dims, colors and logos multiple times, and each time I did paul was on it. Helping answer questions, draft samples and just being supportive and cool through the process. Will order from them again for sure.

It is also possible to order from Japan. The shipping cost is around 20,000 yen and it will be delivered to your home. (It takes 4 to 5 days. Of course, since it is an airmail.) The staff were very polite and helpful. I was surprised at how light the Varial foam was! I will definitely use them the next time I order. If you are spending more than 100,000 yen to buy a PU board in Japan, this is better! Especially if you are willing to pay 150,000 yen for Spine Tech!The delivery time for custom orders was 4 months. (I was not informed of the delivery date. It arrived 4 months after I ordered it.)I'm not sure if there are people watching from Japan, but I hope this will be helpful to those who are worried.

Ordered a custom Channel Islands off the Varial Surf website, and the customer service provided was superior. They got the board turned around in a great time frame, and just in time for a trip to Hawaii.
