Thieves thieves thieves. I was expecting an insurance check via priority mail. Informed delivery showed that this check would arrive last Monday. Mysteriously it has been a week and it never showed up in my mailbox. I have a locked mailbox so they can’t claim it was stolen by anyone else other than an employee. I received the email to the manager of this location and this person has yet to reply to my message. I’ve gone in person to ask what is happening and I’m given the runaround and gaslit. “After a week it’s considered lost.” “Are you sure you locked your mailbox?” TERRIBLE customer service and no empathy towards my situation.

Bill at the front desk is a bitter old man. Clearly has no family that loves him. He was rude to everyone in line , and my sweet wife and I were no exception. Glad we waited in line for 30 minutes while he slowly goes about his day, only for him to turn us away. We went to another USPS and were helped immediately and kindly.

I appreciate the convenient location of this office, and the staff was very kind and helpful to me when I stopped in to establish a P.O. Box. Multiple staff members helped me and explained all of the details of billing and the various benefits that come with my new box. Very quickly I was set up with the box and walked out with two keys, for me and my wife. I certainly recommend using this post office and I’m excited by the new service I established!

I was helped by James today, and he was fantastic. He made my day with his positive attitude and his enthusiasm, qualities I would suspect are innate to him as a person. What a great human. Thank you James and USPS!

It's consistently a miserable experience at this location if you are unfortunate enough to be "helped" by Bill Pendergrast. This clerk is rude, condescending, and unwilling to do the bare minimum that his job requires. He's also inconsistent in that he clearly favors some customers over others. For example, he was rude to the customer in front of me and overly effusive to the one behind me. Furthermore, he is deeply unprofessional, and he alone makes going to this location unpleasant.

Bill is a great help, he's been working there since I was a kid. The service is sometimes slow, but eventually they get you what you need. Post boxes are available before the post office desk is open.

HORRIBLE customer service. I go to this place several times a week. I know everyone there, or so I thought. They knew me because I'm there doing transactions that take well over 10 minutes at a time. But when I'm asking for a package that they sent away to be looked into because it was never returned to the vendor, and now I'm out $100 and I'm told that I should just keep waiting to see if it arrives. I'm patient. But then I go back after a year of waiting and constantly checking in and they're now telling me that I waited too long and the records are only 120 days old. They made me wait. And now Elvira won't be held accountable for giving my package away and the supervisor doesn't want to find out what happened to my package. Elvira and the supervisor are criminals. This place needs to be shut down. I go there every day. I respect them. They don't respect me. Don't respect their customers. They're just there till 5:00 and then forget all about the accountability of the day. I paid an additional fee to Archive my order. And now this paperwork goes nowhere because they just simply deny it. They disregard it and this is the post office but I thought was employed with respectable employees who are honest and not lazy. I won't shut up about this. This isn't right. They did me wrong and I've done nothing but support them.

Beautiful building in downtown Ventura. Very cool mural inside. Parking can be rough, but that's not the fault of the post office.

I took a package for a return today. I had a QR code so it was fast and easy. There was a short line but it took a few minutes because they only had one employee working there, but the line moved quickly and I was able to hand over my package, get the QR code scanned and got my receipt and left. Overall it was a good experience.

Why can't they deliver a small simple package 1/2 a block from their location....? I can see the branch from my office. THREE for THREE including todays botched missing package, their tracking said "DELIVERED" when it was NOT. They dont know where it actually is. Filed another missing package help request. I'm gonna stop buying products from places that ship via the post office.

Make sure you bring a pen or Bill will call you “young and unprepared” and bum you out for the whole day ?

Absolutely destroyed my packages... You might have to wait in line for extended periods, which can be frustrating, especially if there is no clear indication of how long the wait might be.. also there's some Unfriendly/rude staff so that's always fun lol
