This was the BEST experience I’ve had in a long time at a USPS branch. I brought in a box of my own but the super friendly (and beautiful) associate helped me determine that a flat rate large box was best. With the flat rate shipping boxes you can use the priority mail tape and labels as well included in the price. I’m super happy with my experience here.

Very rude staff. Today went in to return 2 items today and the male and female employees were both extremely rude and expressed an attitude. These 2 employees appeared to be very lazy and did not want to do their jobs and tend to the customers needs. Definitely will not go back to this location.

Not an actual USPS center. Came in to do official usps business and woman told me I need to go to the bigger post office... guess they are just a cash register and drop off?!

The Montalvo Post Office is the best in Ventura - at least as far as I'm concerned. They are always friendly & the wait time is minimal if any. They do their jobs quickly so if there is a line it usually goes pretty fast.The only bummer is the whole office including the PO Box area is closed on Sundays. I understand it used to be open all the time until some j*** (probably homeless) decided to use it as a restroom. That's just flat-out disgusting. Can't blame them for closing it!

I get we all have not so great days at work but the woman with the name starting with O was not very helpful or friendly. Get that customer service up please. The woman who has helped me before was amazing and I was in and out within 2 minutes.

Ray Ray the front clerk is a little crybaby. He became upset when he saw the stack of certified letters I needed to send. He told me I should have come when there were 2 clerks! Sorry, but I do not know your lunch schedules! He also slammed one of my envelopes on the scale in an apparent agitated manner. Then he started asking customers behind me what they needed. My business there is just as important as all the others in line! As the saying goes, if you can't handle the heat - get out of the kitchen!

Definitely a smaller post office but worth the visit for the customer service! I have a hard time figuring out how to ship things but Richard made it very easy to send something overnight to my mom! He was so nice and helpful. I will be back!

Rude and didn't help me. Came in to mail a cell phone to my grandmother. Lady behind register told me flatmate 15$ box was too big no small boxes. She tried to put a cell phone in a bubble wrap envelope and charge me 9$ no thanks screw usps I do hope you all close ups or fed ex
