One star is too many! My car was totaled. Insurance made a large payment ((30K) and the CU did not advance payment instead reported 30 day late stating I still need to make payments while waiting for GAP to pay remainder! Wow I have had excellent credit for over 50 years never a late payment. Then have to deal with this taking a hit of over 50 points off my credit score. Thanks Unify

Horrible bank. They are worthless.. ATM machines don't work. They have you going to 3rd party banks for service and they say congratulations.. you can use other banks? Well I'd rather switch my account to those banks. Their hours are extremely limited... They used to be a great customer service bank. Save your time and open an account at another Credit Union. Unify should just close their doors. They also only have one branch barley open.

I was with Unisys Credit Union that was Western Federal Credit Union then Unify Credit union. You couldn't pay me to join a bank. Since 1976 I have seen the changes and it seems to be getting better all the time. I enjoy the friendly atmosphere and personal service. I just consider this my Credit Union and I really don't want to share but I understand they need members. LOL.

Used to bank here, the wait to be helped was a bit long. However, would you want to wait longer at BofA??? What made me stop banking here was the process of getting an auto loan. They wanted to compete with the dealerships, I had to find out what the dealerships can offer and go back to Unify with the financing offers from the dealerships so they can do the financing. I had a home loan through another credit union and went to them, the process was much more straightforward.

if i had to give it a number it will be below one star for me.i came in with a faceshleld because i have breathing problems with the mask. the last time i came in they did not have a issues with it.the girl teller is a little rude and i do not like her very much but i had to bank her. so i will not give it a positive review.

My original review of UNIFY and its app shortly after the big merger was a low 2 stars. In the several years since the merger of Fiscal with Western CU the new UNIFY has gotten better and better. Let me tell you the ways:1) EASY PEASY app for nearly all my banking needs2) Convenient location in my city for loan app / closure, and picking up my new car 3) Excellent loan rates because it's the credit UNION, NOT the profit-oriented-for-investors BANK4) Professional, knowledgeable, and friendly staff to help with in-person financial information & know how5) Phone help for urgent issuesUNIFY, I was hard on you at your start in my first review. You were awkward then, but have stepped up your game, and are now first rate in the services you provide to members.

These guys are the worst bank I have ever had. The only reason I joined them is that it was closer than Firefighters first credit union which is great and I could go to Unify to do business with Firefighters. I took a loan out with them as it was offered and terms were good. Since I have direct deposit at Firefighters I use them to send through bill pay to Unify. These folks have a hard time depositing a check to my account, It takes them over 2 weeks to get it there and then its late and I incur a penalty. I pay everything on the 1st or sooner and always request a due date of the 15th so there is time for everyone to get their money. I talked to them about this and was told its automated somehow so no human can tell what I am trying to do. Really you get a money order from me to me to be posted in my account but it takes you twice as long as anybody else to get my money there. How the hell do they get the envelope open is that automated too. Then they close the Oxnard branch that was a satellite of Firefighters after they opened Ventura that is not a satellite of Firefighters. This bank sucks and when my loan is paid off I will leave them. A bank that can't handle money well. How many professions can you choose that you can be bad at and survive?

I have been banking with Unify about 5 years now I lost track of how many times I have left upset the bankers all need a recap on great customer service .... what's sad it doesn't matter if I go to Oxnard ,Ventura or Camarillo any near by city is the same they all don't seem please to be there , no sense of urgency what's so ever twice I had to wait for them to finish there personal conversation on what they ate for lunch ((both times in Ventura )) , they have rude tones . Bank elsewhere they don't deserve your business !

If your looking to debt consolidate, refi, or auto loan don't even apply with them. They will deny you with fair credit & make you jump through hoops & still deny you & drain you! The guidelines are beyond strict!!! Never again will I refer people here like I use to.

Love the staff!! This credit union helped me get a personal loan at really low interest rate. I love their online and mobile banking. The app is so easy to use and transactions appear on your account history right away.
