uBreakiFix was able to fix my Google Pixel 6 the same day it went bad, reasonably quickly and at a fair price. This morning my battery was "swollen", bending and separating my screen around it. Google wanted $100 and 7-10 days to replace the battery, and uBreakiFix fixed it today in about 3 hours for $130. (It's not clear I could have legally sent it through the mail anyway with the battery ready to possibly explode.) The fix is nice and clean: I can't see any adhesive or scratches or other signs; my phone looks exactly as before. Note that even if you have an "appointment", that's just to check in your phone; when I arrived at the appointment time, they told me they couldn't fix my phone for another 3 hours because of a backlog. But that's still about 80x faster than "10 days" if I mailed it to Google, and only $30 to have it fixed immediately. I'm very happy with their service.

This place is 0/2 in repairing my electronics. First time around the service and communication was great. However the LAST time I went in was everything you'd expect from the Android's Dungeon on the Simpson's. The front desk was unattended on all 3 of my visits The look on the face and the attitude of the troll that finally emerged from the dungeon in back was one of disgust. I'm no stranger to nerd culture so I wasn't all that surprised and tried to give them the benefit of the doubt.
I figured retrieving photos from a water damaged phone would be business as usual but they treated it like repairing the Hubble space telescope. Maybe this type of work is below them or I just went in on a bad day. As far as I'm concerned, every day is a bad day at UbreakIfix. I'd try anywhere else first. You'd get equal repair service with a better attitude by taking your broken electronics to a Foot Locker.
